My favorite band since I was a teenager has been Disturbed. Their second album Believe came out the fall prior to one of the worst years of my life. It became my soundtrack in some ways, my anthem in others, but no matter how I was feeling, I could turn it on, and everything that was going wrong just disappeared for a while. That album, their music literally saved my life that year. In April of 2008, I got the opportunity to see them live in concert, and even better than that, I got to meet their lead singer David Draiman and thank him for what his music meant to me. I appeared calm and collected in front of him, but as we were walking away, it finally hit me that I just got to meet him, and I immediately broke down in tears. I will never forget that moment as long as I live.

Boy George was sentenced in 2009 to 15 months in jail for falsely imprisoning a male prostitute by handcuffing him to a wall and beating him with a metal chain. His victim is STILL waiting for a public apology..but George refuses. George now claims he did nothing wrong because a movie is being made about him and he doesn't want to look bad in it..but the Judge in his case saw pictures of the injuries he inflicted on his victim which were so bad he sentenced George to prison for 15 months but he got out early after only 4 months. George has no remorse..no morals..and shouldn't be allowed to mentor anyone with his criminal record. Absolutely disgusting human being. Shame on The Voice for hiring him.

Better than when Boy George was sentenced in 2009 to 15 months in jail for falsely imprisoning a male prostitute by handcuffing him to a wall and beating him with a metal chain? Hopefully.

@@Nightbird. That was 10 years ago, he did his time and got sober. If you don't like that prisoners get out early, start a petition, lobby politicians, etc. We get it, he did something horrific and paid his price. He didn't break out, he was released. Are you clairvoyant are just assuming to know he has no remorse. He didn't publicly apologize, we get it. He also didn't repeat offend . How many publicly apologize, don't mean it, and re-offend? jmho

@@alleycat1165 A regular person with his violent criminal record would never be able to get a job mentoring others..including children which sometimes appear on the show..and also get paid millions to do it. Especially so if they have shown no remorse for their crimes as George has. Yet..there he is..being loved by millions and getting paid millions. I realize that's not his fault and he is capitalizing on his fame and trying to make as much money as possible. But it is the fault of the British broadcasting company and show producers for hiring him and setting such a bad example for our youth that you can get away with almost killing a person and still have a wonderful life afterwards by getting out early from prison..not showing any remorse for your crime nor compensating your victim..and then get paid millions and be adored by millions who don't give a damn what an old has-been drag queen singer does as long as he looks eccentric and acts flamboyant to entertain them. Yea..that's the kind of society we all want..right? And me posting here publicly is not only my right to do so..but it's my form of activism on behalf of victims of violent crimes such as George's who not only have to suffer with the repercussions of that crime that was committed against them for the rest of their lives..often requiring years of therapy to just be able to function daily..and not have millions of dollars being paid to them to do so. You don't like what I post? Ignore it and move on to the next "life is wonderful don't post about bad stuff" video KZbin is filled with. No one forces you to read my posts and victims of violent crimes have told me how much they appreciate someone thinking about and standing up for them..instead of the criminal just because said criminal is famous. I will never apologize nor stop standing up for victims. Somebody has to. Happy Holidays.

@@Nightbird. Unless you was that person he had cuffed and beat with that chain then you do not need to worry about it, people go through certain things in life and do certain things they are not proud of but and hear this loud & clear NO PERSON ON THIS EARTH IS PERFECT! or without regrets but regrets are part of growing as a person and learning to be a better person so unless you are that one perfect person then you need to move on because holding onto things will not let you grow as a person, they will weigh you down I promise you

@@oniebaloney Facts are not trolls. And most of us go through "dark places" in our lives without violently hurting other human beings. And he did NOT pay for his crime as he didn't do his full sentence. He also never apologized to his victim which is all his victim asked for. He is now saying he was innocent because a movie will be made about him and he is afraid of how he will be portrayed..even though there are medical pictures showing the horrible extent of physical damage he caused his victim. So he has no remorse either. If such a person had done this to someone you loved..would you still be so nonchalant about it? Of course not. But because it's a famous drag queen you don't give a damn. That means the only troll here is you my dear.

However far she goes she will remember this moment for her entire life time. Edit: I made that comment before watching her react to watch Boy George said .....when it was repeated back to her because she was too star struck to hear him say it the first time. This girl is too precious.
