Wow...even when I listen to this 4 years later my eyes get teary....this was probably the best blind audition for the Voice UK ever, unsurpassed. Took me by surprise, and reminds me that I have to go to her show in London

Wow. I've seen a couple of opera acts on various Voices around the world, but most of them didn't impress me (and I do like actual opera!). But this girls has such a clear beautiful voice, she totally can sing and, most importantly, there's emotion in her performance. And when I learned that she works at a theater but she's an usher... damn, I hope this would be one of those Cinderella-like stories. Lucy deserves to be on the stage!

Listening to this one year later I'm just as impressed. I particularly like Lucy's lower notes, they are really emotional and powerful. Tragic arias could've been better for her than the cutesy "Disney" stuff Will went for.

She performed on The Voice of Ireland and Kian didn't take her last the battle stage. Lucy just proved what an idiot he was with this performance. Impeccable voice and this girl is a star. When Lucy walked on I thought, "great, another country wanna-be" and slumped back in the couch. Then this girl opened her mouth and I sat straight up. Rita Ora said it best, "I did not expect that." Since then, Lucy was the one reason for me to keep watching the voice. Her hard work and sheer determination brought her to this point and will bring her far beyond it - as has been proven.

Absolutely fantastic performance - together with a good orchestra, this would make a great recording of opera arias (please chose some of the less known as well). The voice is immaculate, smooth, exciting. I am not sure if the Voice UK is the right format (I would vote for you of course !) - how do you compare this voice with a pop/rock voice ? However, I am quite puzzled that someone with this level of talent does not get a chance to sing classical music in the UK...the phones should be ringing now !!

Most of these so-called opera singers that appear on these mainstream talent programmes flatter to deceive but Lucy is truly fantastic (even better then Lucy Kay who was on BGT), her belcanto like ringing quality to her voice timbre reminds me a little of a young Anna Netrebko or even Maria Callas and that is very high praise indeed.
