Hello Lucie V, well you have reacted to my favourite Lucy cover " All By Myself " she blows my mind with this cover where does she get the power in her voice to sing this song like she does I will never know. Lucie V, we love your reactions to this incredible young performer and agree with you that there is no need for comparisons, we along with the performers are all individuals and each of us has our talents, likes and dislikes, so debating between who is the best performer in my view is fruitless. However my wife and I believe that currently Lucy is the best in the world that we know of, we love her style, tones (both high and low) clarity, range, power, control, vocal ability across different genres, and her story telling ability. To us she is the complete performer and one day we hope to see her live, travelling from Australia will not be cheap, but from reports of her recent live performance in Manchester, it will truly be worth it. Thanks again for supporting Lucy Thomas Music. 😊👏👏❤️❤️

WOW!! Just incredible!! Lucy is certainly an undeniable modern wonder, a beautiful singer, a beautiful and charming woman. Lucy is pure and genuine. Her voice is gold. And her inner and natural outer beauty is a rarity in the world today. Lucy is in a class of her own. She is beyond just talented. Lucy makes every song she sings into a masterpiece. She feels every word she sings. This particular song is more than wonderful. Lucy blows this one out of the park and into orbit! WOW! Her genuine purity truly touches the heart.

Hi Lucie you have certainly picked a power house performance here from our Queen of song. She blows this out of the park Imo. the best version ever. Lucy had her concert in Manchester last week its was a total sell out with standing ovations and encores .Her next concert is in Tokyo in September. Love your reactions please keep with Lucy. I am surprised that you have not reacted to "1000 years" or "Hold On" yet they are block busters I have already sent you the links. Thanks for your continuing support for Lucy stay safe.

If you know you don’t care for a specific artist or genre, then move on. Being negative accomplishes nothing. Lucy never gives off a competitive, superior, or diva vibe. This particular cover shows her full range of skills and talents. I simply believe she is the best out there - at least to my ears 😁

Lucie, I would say Lucy T. caught you by surprise when she exploded after the video interlude. I think someone said that was Lucy T. in the video (not verified by me). But the video really accents the theme of this piece; the person was all by herself walking alone on the beach. I agree with you that Lucy killed it.

Hey Lucie. It is a pleasure, thank you for a great reaction as always! I agree with Colin this is definitely one of her best performances. The real power of her voice comes out in this song. She is spectacular. Gutted that I could not attend her first live show but hope to make up for this in the future. I wish there was some uploads of her singing live at the show...unless it was prohibited to take photos and or videos. Have a great week!

Hello Jean, i was fortunate to be at the show, which was superb, Lucy's management requested that no recordings or photo's were taken, but there was a professional crew in attendance filming a video, which i imagine will be released at some point, the high point for me was when Martha joined Lucy on stage for two duets, they received a much deserved standing ovation,--------Ian.

@@iancave-nu1ff Wow. Thanks Ian, appreciate the feedback, you are one lucky guy! I really hope that they will release a recording for sale at some point. Fingers crossed. I have watched some recordings of her singing live when she was much younger , would love to hear what she sounds like now. Many people say that she sounds even more impressive live. But there is also some nonsense stuff floating around on some reaction sites that they autotune or pitch correct her voice on some of the videos. Not so sure of that...

@@Jean_2412 Hi again Jean. i suppose the mere fact that music videos are produced in a studio by "sound engineers" implies some enhancements can be applied to the finished product, but i can absolutely confirm that Lucy sounds as good live , or better in some cases, her closing number was hallelujah, and it was absolutely spectacular, and Martha's voice on the Prayer has improved no end in the intervening two years since the video--------------Ian..

Hello Lucie. I first came across your channel when you reacted to Emma Kok. I came across Lucy just within the last few days and when I saw last night that you’d reacted to her I wanted to see your take on her and see if it matched the amazement I first felt when hearing this angelic voice. Well Lucie, I was waiting to see if you would react to this one. All By Myself probably demonstrates the awesome power of Lucy Thomas's voice better than any other song that she sings. Unlike other performers, Lucy delivers that power without sounding screechy or screaming. She increases the volume and power without it sounding painful to the ears. That can not be said of all female vocalists. Her voice is just so pleasing to listen to. Thanks for your many wonderful reactions to Lucy Thomas.

I'm so glad you reacted to this. I'm 60 years old so I grew up with the Eric Carmen hit, which by the way that middle piano interlude is an homage to one of the famous piano concertos by the Russian composer Rachmaninoff, but Lucy takes it to a whole new level here. I didn't know what to think at first but just like with that Procol Harum song, a Whiter shade of Pale? She shows off how she can hang out in that lower husky alto range and be really strong there, but in this one she's showing that she can absolutely freaking belt. It's just so beautiful.❤

One of my Lucy favourites that I have listened to many times, but my favourite is "La Vie En Rose" mostly sung in her mid range dipping into high and low occasionally and she sells it magnificently with a big ending. She doesn't have a weak part of her range and exceptional power as well, about two and a half octave range exceptionally well trained and has put in the endless hours and work training to get here. Outstanding talent and performer.

Hi ya Lucie - although this is one of my very favourite songs that Lucy performs, it brings me to tears every time. I lost my wife in 2020 and this song has special meaning to me. Another great reaction - thank you Lucie for continuing to react to and support 'our' Lucy. Stay safe and healthy!

Hi Lucie, I had the immense pleasure of witnessing Lucy’s first solo public concert in Manchester on March 5th, almost unbelievably she sounds even better live! Lucy performed 17 songs including 2duets with Martha, I also ended up sitting next to their mum Louise! People in the know tell me it is Lucy on Ainsdale beach in Lancashire in the bridge video

Great reaction Lucie, You're the best! Thank you so much for playing and reacting to your namesake again. The power of Lucy's young voice is stunning and unbelievable. She makes me tremble with emotion. Please, please, please continue being a regular reactor to Lucy (and her little sister Martha). Please do not hesitate to play and react to some of Lucy's earlier performances of 3, 4, and 5 years earlier.. They often get overlooked, even by the greatest reactors like you. Even at a younger age, Lucy’s voice was already mature and absolutely stunning. As Bruce Lee once said 'Be water my friend', meaning when you spoor water into a pot, it becomes the pot, poor water into glass it becomes the glass. When Lucy sings, she like water, becomes the song, she sings the song with all her heart and soul, she sings with clarity, smooth control, a beautiful softness, and breath control, she checks all the boxes. So Lucy 'be water my friend'.

Hi Lucie Great reaction to Lucy's power ballad,!! if you would like to listen to a complete contrast try "Someone you loved," a sublime performance by Lucy, also for a different genre but equally brilliant "At last" the Etta James classic, i can be rest assured you would not be dissapointed,!!!

Lucie, I'm afraid I have to disagree with you about being alone. Being a very senior citizen as-well-as being alone is the "pits". Did you notice Lucy T's breathing during the belting section? The second time she did a run that just went on and on, all in one breath. Amazing!
