Lucy was only 15, I think. But she did a stunning cover of this beautiful song from Barbara.❤❤❤❤ If you look at some older video from Lucy , I can only recommend : She use to be mine ..a cover of the musical " Waitress". Lucy is very young but sing it as she had a life time expérience.❤❤❤❤

This is one of my favorite Lucy Thomas videos. It's just flawless. The last verse she pulls you in with those deep lower notes and then all that power behind that beautiful belt when she explodes just before the end. She was also still just 15 years old here. Hi Lucie Great reaction as always to our Queen of song .She nailed this one and only 15 years old even at this age she could have sung it in the West End. Best version ever in my opinion. Hi Lucie, a marvellous reaction to a young Lucy (15y). Yes, even at 10 and below Lucy was already performing well above her age. To get an idea try RUN (age 10) or the any song in a playlist by Robbie Dunbar: Rare Recordings containing her audition song for the musical Rosie called One Day (age 13) and nine other gems. Another source to get an idea may be Circle of singers containing a dozen or so snippets/fragments of covers age 14-18. Enjoy.

Lucie, this was the first (or second) video of Lucy Thomas that I watched, and it made me subscribe to her channel immediately. This one shows off many facets of Lucy's talent. I could see that you were also affected. After 2 words you emitted "oooh" accompanied by a smile. You smiled, shook your head, and brought your hands to hour chest showing you were really feeling this one. You were hooked right there. Most of the way it appeared to me you were shaking off chills. I, on the other hand, had to reach for the Kleenex box; being in tears the complete rendition. When she really cranked up the power and belted out those very strong notes I was amazed by the fact that she did not screech ("Reach but no screech"), but still had her beautiful voice, to-die for vibrato, and excellent and clean diction (I could still understand the lyrics). This presentation literally dumbfounded me. I think she's only 15 yrs. old in this one. I'm a very senior citizen, I've been in music since 1950, and Lucy is among the top 5-10 female artists in my whole life. As you can tell from this long post, as-well-as others on your channel, that I'm a dedicated Lucy fan. 😂

Lucy is amazing - whatever her age, she brings a dimension that is magical to each song, an almost spiritual yearning, a musical artistry, her own natural beauty, a unique vocal personality and a very engaging voice with depth and range that seems personal to the listener. As others have suggested, her recent "Pie Jesu" with Martha, an Andrew Lloyd Webber turn on Medieval Catholic requiem, is simply stunning.

I could listen to Lucy sing this song 100 times in a row non-stop and never tire of it! But I don't think my tear ducts could generate that many tears before I would drown in the beauty of her voice and the elegance of her grace! She is one of the few who truly understands and executes the "music" behind the music!

Lucie, you make it hard for me to watch this video. This one really affected you and watching you affected me too. There were ooh's , grabbing your chest because of what you were feeling, and sometimes just speechless. Your reactions have an effect on me. There was even a crescendo and run-up where your mouth got wider open with each note. Had there been a camera on me the first time I watched this video of hers you would have seen the same kinds of reactions from me. Sometimes I even felt a deep gut reaction pulling at my chest and taking my breath with it. Lucy's voice pleases me and slays me at the same time. One of my all-time favorites.

This is the song I've been waiting for (well one of them at least).....for you to react to. Lucy was 15 here. Yes that's 15, and it shows absolutely what Lucy is capable of. She was already blessed with the full arsenal back then and this song is the proof in spades. When people go on to see her more recent stuff and find themselves mesmerized by her...... just remember this was what she was like back then. No one could hold a candle next to her then even. Honest try even Moon River when she was 13. Just incredible for someone of that age. Lucy Thomas, for me was the world's greatest ever already back then......never mind now. Hi Lucie, I absolutely love YOUR Lucy and Martha reactions above anyone else's. I especially like your back tracking to replay the best parts over again. As you know, Lucy has the most angelically beautiful voice in the world. Please, please, please play and react to a couple of Lucy's early videos: “LISTEN”. At only age 14, Lucy was a girl with a voice as powerful as that of an adult diva! "I'LL NEVER LOVE AGAIN". At only age 15, Lucy blows the original version out of the water. Although almost as rich and refined as it is now, Lucy’s voice back then was so powerful, so emotional, and mature well beyond her years. Best regards, Hopelessly Addicted in Arizona

Lucie, (personal) sometimes I watch videos full-screen to immerse myself in the performance. I've notice some camera shake in your videos. I only see it when I go FS on a 26" monitor. Just thought you would like to know and maybe get a more stable place for your camera. Other than that, I really enjoy your comments about Lucy Thomas. I can tell that she totally moves you (me too). She's one-of-a-kind.
