Lucy is a KZbin sensation. As already mentioned, there are many other great recordings of Lucy singing solo, and her voice has matured and got richer since that recording. But before doing another solo from her I would recommend one of her duets with her little sister Martha. Their rendition of ‘The Prayer’ is simply outstanding, thought by many to be even better than the Andrea Bocelli/Cèline Dion original. Lucy was 18 and Martha 12 when they sang that.

You have now seen what captivated me. This was the first song I heard by her. Her on key every note, sweet soft tones, and crisp clear highs are world class. I hope your fans enjoy her. I put her vocals into a very small group of super talents. She covers a lot of the greats, she pays homage but also does the songs Lucy style. Thank you for a great reaction to Lucy Thomas's rendition of "Hallelujah". This was the first song I heard and I almost fell out of my chair. I have over a decade of Singing and Acting. I had to play it over and over to make sure my ears and eyes weren't fooling me. Lucy Thomas at age 16 here, absolutely took a classic and made this song her own. Many have copied this song, but only Lucy has improved it. Even if someone tried to copy Lucy's rendition, they would fall short. No one will beat this performance... no one. A flawless performance, expert breathing, perfect pitch, range and volume control many pros with decades of experience would envy. Lucy made it look easy. The way Lucy changes the shape of her mouth to change the tonal quality is amazing. Lucy has the tightest vibrato control I have ever heard. She can hold her vibrato plus or minus 1/4 note from base note, even when she is mouthing sounds like oooh's and aaahh's. It is refreshing to see and hear real talent. Especially in today's flood of talent-less performances on the internet. So many rely on gimmicks or hide in studio. Auto-tune and lackluster physical deliveries that make us scratch our heads. Lucy Thomas has real talent and it not afraid to use it. 1 mic, 1 camera, 1 take start to finish. Her physical delivery connects in a deep and emotional way with her listeners. We become part of the story Lucy is telling with her song. Like a great novel, Lucy's story has a beginning, middle and end. We don't want it to end, just a little more please. Lucy Thomas doesn't copy music... Lucy Thomas improves it.

I hope you listen to more of Lucy (and Martha and her mom). Please pay attention to each type of music and how her sound and style changes. Jazz - "At Last", theatre - "Starlight", rock - "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", classic movie - "The Way We Were", country - "10,000 Hours", etc. The piece you just listened to is used in the move "On a Wing and a Prayer" on Prime. She has gotten better with each release.

Congratulations- you both have heard n seen an ANGEL. Thats the only way I can describe LUCY THOMAS. I can promise you this, in 2024 this young lady will be known WORLDWIDE. YES, she is mesmerising when you look at her. Lucy takes you on a journey with her words and it’s a different one for each of us. She makes your spine tingle n your hairs on your arm stand up. One becomes hypnotised by her. Your review tells me you are hooked. She’s now 19 but she’s so mature in her voice. I love the way her arms move as though she’s embracing you into her music. Please please review EVERGREEN ( Barbara Streisand ) and/or “ All By Myself” - I think that was by Celine Dion. With respect to to other great singers, Lucy is taking on the best of the best n she’s nailing it so she OWNS IT. I’m almost 70 n I’ve heard the best n not restricted myself to any genre but Lucy is like…? From another world n with each song we can ride the high notes with her n then be marvelled at how she brings her tone down but still has AIR… perfect is all I can say Thanks again 👏👏

Attempt number 3 to add a comment .This song has over 33million views and is being used in a movie .Lucy is now 19.Her Latest song is "A brand new day" realised 4 weeks ago and already has 249k views Lucy is starring in a new musical due to open in London´s West end next year she has already pre released a number of the songs from it. I am new in you tube and just a couple of week's lessening music from the trending of lady Gaga's song being sung by some young lady's here in the philippines. Very beautiful! She can absolutely sing beyond comparison. However, after hearing the recent live recording by Emma Kok, it is indeed a perfect fabricated studio production but nothing more. Emma Kok's voice is not as perfect in a live recording, but she really touches your heart with this song❤. Emma does not act, she lives the song. I do look forward to a live performance of Lucy thought!
