Layman.....Congratulations on being the first to react to Lucy's new song, this song was just released today, i watched and listened 2 or 3 times then went and listened to Barbara Streisand, 2 or 3 different versions and my opinion is Lucy has a fuller, deeper , broader, with more "music" in her voice than Barbara who to me sounds tinny....Lucy gave us a stunning version, as Lucy performs these song and not just sings them, and I also suggested this song to you but Anthony beat me to it, as he is closer to the source than I am. But I knew you would enjoy this. This young Lady just keeps improving... Thank you for the reaction enjoy !!!

*_Lucy is wrapping up 2022 with her amazing performance of "The Way We Were"..._* She has matured so much over the last several years. Lucy has matured physically, emotionally, and professionally. I don't think there is anything that can stop her from achieving her dreams. Lucy doesn't copy songs, she improves each and every song she performs. In most cases her rendition is better than the original. That is true talent. *_Have to wonder what Lucy Thomas has planned for us in 2023... another album is certain and more Top Hit Singles._*

Thanks Layman. Lucy has not a " special" voice like Angelina or Diana, but her voice is not less exceptional. Her voice is very feminine , very " warm", very soulful and very powerful too. Not the least , she knows , also, how to perform , how to transmit emotions, how to make us feel the meanings of the song. These are the signs showing a future superstar ❤️👍🥰. Yes I do believe Lucy has a fuller, deeper, broader singing voice with more "Music" in her voice, the best sounding singer I have ever heard !! ! And Lucy performs her songs not just sings them !!!

Layman what you are hearing and trying to describe is Lucy's vibrato...or extra vibration in her notes, I call it the worbble in thee voice as she holds them !!!

I've been a Barbara fan since I was a kid in the 60s. Nobody can sing it like Barbara but this cover is amazing she did the song a real Justice. Peace ✌️
