I'm catching up on vids from all my fav fashion yters now bc I binge watched hermitcraft videos for like a year but anyways this vid was soo helpful to me bc I'm going on a trip in less than 2 months and struggling to figure out a capsule wardrobe to bring bc we're gonna be there for 2 weeks and I've only traveled a couple times before and my wardrobe has totally changed since then/different season. we're going to the uk and I live in nevada and think 60 f is cold so I'm gonna be wearing sweaters like the entire time lmfaooo. I'm realizing I'm still missing a lot of basic pieces and I'm struggling so hard figuring out a smallish color palette so that I don't have to bring a lot of stuff and can have room in my suitcase to buy stuff bc I love thrifting when I travel but ughhhh. it's so hard pls pray 4 me

I also always just pick 2 or 3 colours that combine really well, that way everything matches and you can make many slightly different outfits with just a few items. You did that part really well too! ☺️

Love this, you absolutely nailed it, such a cute capsule wardrobe 💕 I did a black/off white/neutrals colour palette for my recent 3 week trip. I wore almost everything, but found I overestimated how cold Japan in Spring would be, I should have brought more light layers rather than the jumpers I ended up bringing. My quick drying silk scarf was a very versatile accessory x
