The one thing I did at my wedding that I feel like was the best idea ever was to have a potluck. We provided the meat, drinks and dessert, and our guests all brought side dishes. It was an absolutely incredible array of food and it was so fun because we didn't know what people were going to bring until we got there.

If you haven't had your ring resized yet, there's another type of ring resizer that is a more rigid plastic that sits inside your ring and hugs the band. I've found them to be a lot more secure than the soft, spiral ones. There are packs with different sizes and shapes for all kinds of different rings. Some come with a sheet of double sided sticky gel that you cut up and stick between the band and the resizer to stop the resizer from falling off when you take the ring off.

Massive congratulations to you both, it's amazing how happy you can be for two people you've never met! My biggest piece of advice for planning a wedding is do whatever makes you both feel happy. If you want a huge white wedding with 1000 guests and a whackoff cake go for it, but if you want to wear a mini dress and cowboy boots and sod off to Vegas just the two of you, do it.

Firstly let me say congratulations to you both! Such exciting news. Secondly as someone who got married earlier this year, can I offer some unsolicited advice? The first thing you should start with is figuring out your budget, what you'll be paying for together and what your parents (on both sides) could contribute if anything. Once you know that, pick from the big things (photographer, venue, decorations, flowers, etc) of which is most important to you both. I booked my photographer first as I knew who I wanted but I lost out on my choice of decorator as I left I too late. I do hope you do a few wedding planning related videos but I understand if you want to keep it private between you and Adam. Congrats again!

Congratulations 🎉 planning-wise, it's probably good to have a ballpark figure of the maximum number of people you're likely to want to invite, but don't spend too much time getting a specific guestlist together at this stage because good venues get booked up early so you'll want to spring into action with researching locations, visiting them and looking at local suppliers too so that when you find the venue you want you can liaise with other key suppliers to make sure the date you want works for everyone! Planning is stressful but also a lot of fun!
