A base recipe for butter cookies. All you need is 100g sugar, 200g butter and 300g flour. Then you can put your own spin on it. Just remember that the 300g of flour counts as the total amount of dry ingredients, so if you add 50g of cacao-powder then you have to subtract 50g of flour. Also if you put in any chocolate chips I recommend subtracting the same weight in sugar. Variations are only limited by the imagination. I tried cinnamon, cardamon, chocolate-chip, almond ( 200g of almond flour and 1/2 tsp almond extract ). When I made this video I attempted to find a base recipe that works 100%'ish of the time, and it does, but by adding one egg the cookies firm up and have a bit more bite to them.
