Pettit Racing Blow Off Valve Upgrade Kit - FD Mazda RX-7

in this video we install, test, and review Pettit Racing's Blow off valve for the FD Mazda RX-7.
Our 1994 Mazda RX-7 with a 13B is running fine and the stock BOV is in good working condition. I wanted to test PR BOV because I was curious about the sounds and claims on their website about quicker response and a larger size.
After we installed the PR BOV, we went for a test drive where we placed a GoPro in the engine bay next to the BOV location and captured sound clips of both the stock bov and the PR bov.
After the drives I reviewed the new pr bov. The pr bov was not auditable at low rpms. I not sure if it was activating or not but at the same time there was no turbo surge sound and at close to wot you heard the pr bov activate.
Besides that, it is a nice design, and I can see how it could benefit engines with more modifications and boost levels.
