To be totally honest, I hate them about as much. Any kind of enemy that resurrects already dead enemies is a total no-no, just make it not exist, blast it with explosives, it's the one thing that deserves the heaviest artillery. I remember one time I played Skulltag in 2011 and fun part was the mod when you could choose any demon on the map and he will be more powerful when you control him and other team needs to complete the map with limited amount of lives. Damn that was fun.

The legit way to complete map 4 with the multiplying pain elementals (even on potato computer!): You just have to survive for 45 seconds (as the map view also suggests). To prevent the pain elementals flooding the map, just hide immediately at the beginning of the level behind a column, so the initial monster won't see you and thus won't spawn more monsters. Just keep going around that column, making sure the pain elemental never sees you and voila: the map ends after 45 seconds with only 1 monster on the map.

This one looks fun as hell. The maps look well made and the gameplay looks interesting enough. I also think it quite funny how he said that the Archviles were Revenants in map 2. Someone should make a mod for Doom where you are unable to kill any enemies. If you kill any of them you explode violently and game over but if you die all enemies near you die and you get resurrected like a voodoo doll.

But how can you actually be hurt? The only way a pain elemental can hurt you is by the lost soul hitting you. You don't take damage when a pain elemental hits you, so they should grow exponentially but be unable to harm you.

@ICARUSLIV3S Try to straferun through pillar sections next time. Instead of looking in front of you, rotate a little to the left and press the strafe right button while running forward. The Doom engine makes you run noticeably faster that way and if you get used to it, platforming sections become much easier.
