21:02 i think that has to do with soldiers expecting to be able to plunder the city for their own but you not allowing it. Soldiers still expect payment, and that payment comes out of your pockets instead of loot from the city

The Knights can do all their achievements as the latin empire, very fun campaign. Though you should get the Caribbean cored before forming Jerusalem, moving the capital can be a pain.

With the new patch I tend to F4 until the Poland decision takes longer, thus allowing me to get a PU claim immediately and over both Poland and Ludi-ania. That mission feels really weirdly designed.

@@LudietHistoria It is just so good. And I hate it the other way around, often enough Poland goes on a conquering spree in the Baltics, Russland and the hordes. Very tedious to beat them up multiple times to get a PU on a very dimished Poland then... Also, I tend to cheese hard as Austria, like getting the TO for the IA and make them release Danzig later :D

In the 'Sack of' event (in this case Napoli) when the event fires the sack has ALREADY be done. What youre pressented with are the options to pay YOUR troops to end the sack in an early stage or allow them to completely ruin such city. So Ludi you're not paying for "the sack" you're paying to STOP IT

If you are really fast with Bohemia, then you can trigger the mission for a PU on Poland before they get Lithuania as their subject, allowing you to get both of them before 1450.

The devs have done Czechia dirty with this opener. It would be more sensible to get the union CB only once Bohemia has dealt with the Hus/Pod event AND is not voting for Austria (already likely). Austria would otherwise have no real cause against Bohemia. That said, the new Czech mission tree is VERY nice.

Ludi, it cost you money, because you are paying off your soldiers not to loot and be more professional. Instead you are just destroying it. You also have 2 more options there, where you let them loot and they will pay some cash to you in which they lose professionalism and turning into barbarism

I can't get the first war. Saxony and Brandenburg rival each other every game and the Palatinate and saxony do it often as well. then one of the Archbishophrics decides to support the Palatiniate causing it to support itself. meaning that I only have 2 of 4 electors(tried one each with all 3 and always the one I ally Palatinate or Bohimia.) never had this problem on earlier patches.

getting 75 relations is ridiculously easy. Ally/royal marry. If they rival each other like you say above, do what I did in my 1.36 austria video if you can find it, if you can't find the video, basically ally the one that's less likely to ally you if you ally their rival first, and then ally their rival after. Hope that makes sense. IF it still didn't and you can't get them to ally, another easy way to get it done is sending scornful insult to their rivals that are not electors, sending gifts, bestowing imperial grace, giving mil access, asking them to transfer trade power, proclaim guaranteeing, etc. There's many many ways to get their relations up fast! Usually I'm able to ally Brandenburg, Palatinate, and two of the Archbisphorics and I never had problems with that. Just see which of the three Archbisphorics is rival to the other so I avoid allying them, and you should get the mission very fast. You can also keep the game at a lower speed during that part just so you don't forget to ally one of them

​@@diogomelo7897 I get the alliances just fine. they just stop supporting me for emperor on this patch. you need the alliances AND the support AND you need all of it before Bohemia can get alliances themselves so you need it in the first month. any delay means a larger war. thus a restart. as I said. I know the Strat. I thought it was the new patch altering AI decision making(after all I never used to have trouble on the previous patches' Austria despite the harsher requirements) but maybe the RNG was bad yesterday.

​@@diogomelo7897 yeah. everyone will support themselves if anyone else supports them. one of my archbishoprics supports palatinate each game. causing me to lose both countries from the reqs. then Saxony breaks alliance. leaving me with only Brandenburg meeting all requirements. in a year or so it is easy to fix. but by then I have given Bohimia time to ally France or Poland or something crazy.

ad paying after sacking city- you dont need to but you lose professionalism. logic is straightforward- as in reality, when you want to avoid plundering you need to compensate for loot of your soldiers. historically was looting city common method how soldiers got money. so with payment, city is less destroyed and you have compensate looting by money to get professionalism
