Ludington Michigan is host to the biggest salmon and trout tournament on Lake Michigan. The Ludington Offshore classic runs for 2 days, during which anglers strive to catch 10 fish per day of the biggest salmon/trout species they can find. The Tournament Trail 333 Championship Series also runs during this tournament in the 333 format, the biggest 3 fish weighed over the two fishing days.
