The berceuse, and the two early nocturnes are Chopin at his melodic best. The only piece that seems to be missing from your list is chopins famous etude op 10 no 3, and arguably the fantasie impromptu.

Many people probably wonder why music written almost 200 years ago still has such a profound effect on people's feelings and souls. Chopin's music has withstood the test of time because human beings love beautiful melodies. Take the second theme (in E♭) of the Ballade No. 1 in G minor, or the key change to D♭ major in the Fantasie Impromptu, or the main theme of the beloved Nocturne in E♭ major. Simply exquisite and charming!

Such a beautiful collection,the first selection is particularly haunting,stunning and exciting, I think its my favorite.Within 30 seconds I can feel the emotions it conveys.
