This song is so in-character for Fifteen. The celestial, alien melody sets the stage for the awe we feel when we get to know Fifteen's absurd power.

That build up is so somber and angry like someone slowly dying because of you and it builds up as they slowly rise out of their hospital bed decaying and rotting, stabilizing their footsteps and disconnecting themselves from machines, walking out of that room, walking down a street they once knew as a corpse of their former self, gathering their equipment, and leaving to do to you what you did to them.

When I listen to this intro, and the main song, in my mind I get the sense of a story unfolding through this music. The story of a tiny momma mouse who goes out forging one cold and dreary night to feed herself and her hungry litter of newborn pups. As she leaves her hidden nest she picks up a strong scent of food and heads in the direction of it. Off into the cold and gapping maw of the night's darkness she treads. As swiftly as her little momma mouse feet can carry her. Rapidly she scurries forward into the obsidian night. As she approaches closer and closer to her prize she picks up another scent. Something she can't exactly pin down given her limited momma mouse intelligence. However that scent always seems to linger in the stillness of the night as she moves through the inky darkness. The odd lingering scent subtly coiling and wrapping itself around the stronger scent of sustenance that compels her forward. Eventually she sniffs out her joyous fare. Ever so cautiously she begins to fill her little mousey cheek pouches with life sustaining nourishment to take back to her demanding litter of newborns. Yet that other scent, the scent that is not food, grows stronger and stronger. Enveloping and constricting all other scents from her tiny momma mouse mind. Then it happens! Hardcoded primordial instincts go off like a tripwire of instant dread. She stands absolutely deathly still. She knows...she knows the ancient death of hear kind is here! That other scent, the scent that is not food, horrifically materializes as the...........
