Something the destiny, H3, and Asmon fans don’t understand is that the world is complex and want to put people like Hasan in a box. People want to know why Ludwig isn’t flaming Hasan? It’s because they’re friends and Hasan is normal ass dude getting yelled at by a bunch of sweaty losers who for some reason think one of the only sane leftist voices is worth yelling at over “antisemitism” instead of yelling at maybe idk one of the many many actual racists and antisemites on the right. @ I think a general thing Hasan tries to put in his content is a more sympathetic view of the middle eastern powers that are often overly demonized by western media. Now I don’t know the instances you’re speaking of but he has certainly said a few times that he isn’t necessarily pro the organizations but understands what is driving their creation, the treatment of the region by the US and Isreal specifically. I think a big thing this situation has highlighted is that so many people are really really really against anything that even sounds close to being antisemitism, which is understandable, but seem to have no real lasting concerns over blatant Islamophobia. Yes, Asmon was banned and had some controversy among normal people, I even thought he did a great apology which acknowledged his faults and the hateful content spiral he was falling into. But after coming back from his ban he’s gone straight back to constant anti woke grifting. I think it’s chill to not like Hasan for his non committal vague sentiments towards the antisemitism of Hesbollah and the Houthis but he is not openly and blatantly claiming they are virtuous and without fault. I guess I really don’t know what people want to happen to him, Asmon is straight up worse and got a 2 week ban, so it’s like do people want Hasan perma banned or will they be cool with another 2 week slap on the wrist. They aren’t banning Hasan cause it’s not easy to try and paint him as antisemetic when he has clearly demonstrated in coverage of the wright wing and discussions with Ethan that he is anything but that. If twitch wants to ban him they have to make clear their stance on specific world conflicts with no sugarcoating, and for Ludwig to disparage Hasan he would have to learn the entire history of the Middle East just to satisfy some drama frogs. The whole thing just seems silly and a complete overreaction to me. Happy to be told I’m wrong though I’m not the most knowledgeable on the region myself.

@@shwars576 like I said I’m unaware of the situations you are referencing where can I view the videos, cause the enforcement of that policy depends on how they define propaganda and who actually produced it. And it also brings up extremist propaganda, something you could use to apply to almost all coverage of the modern politics if you twist the definition the right way. I also think if the showing of two clips is pretty much all you can muster is still don’t understand the religious crusade to get him de platformed, he fights anti semitism and helps provide a medium for middle of the line voters to learn more about leftist policies in a way that speaks to normal people. I think the magnifying glass put on him is cherry picked when he does 8 hour streams most days of the week, you could probably compile clips to make any story up about him as you want and have a compelling argument. Again haven’t seen the clips so maybe he’s in there grinning like a mad man watching a hezbollah talk about slaughtering women and children, but based on what I know about him it’s probably just some video of someone humanizing the organization. Again could be talking out my ass but it’s easy to define most political content as extremist or propaganda and the more we try and do that to people we don’t like the less level headed political coverage we’ll get. The main problem is that non of these right wing grifters will ever get the same level of infighting as leftists because they understand that even if the other guy is a literal nazi you can just call it cancel culture and move on. Just seems self defeating to witch hunt a normal dude.
