tbh he is kind of a fundies ice climber. big d didnt put much time into the strong desyncs and it kinda shows ;/ like you see him fail pretty easy stuff like 2ura & ccj pretty often or not even going for it when its free but he can create weird situations that bait and punish pretty hard. Edit: Kinda the same like samsora back in the day. i know plenty of peaches at my regionals that use tech all the time while he would just fair you 10 times in neutral.

It was an up smash; for whatever reason, when Nana charges up or down smash, she automatically slides to Popo while doing so. If Nana charges an F smash, she stays still while Popo is free to walk around.

It’s because nanna is forced towards popo so if you did downsmash slightly far away from nana she would move towards same for up smash but f smash she gets locked in place and can’t move no matter what

Though I also have to say, Light is such a phenomenal player even at the end of the video here saying that it was mostly things he didnt know but can still figure it out. It is not often that I root against Light, but Big D is my goat. I always learn something new when I watch him, and for this set it was the get up attack desync with nana while he ledge dropped with popo(or the primary climber anyways, I think they’re switched in this costume). Even though it didn’t work, it’s still fascinating that you can do that

I feel bad for light he has such amazing fundamentals for an ultimate player and he wastes them playing this game full of gimmicks and characters that defy the basic understanding of the game. He would do much better in melee. Characters have lag so you can punish them they don't build walls to camp you out and get better for camping you, they don't have combo starters where they are invincible, just a better game all around.
