Ludwig Keystone X explanation

The song at the end of this video is a clip from the Herd of Bison song The Nomad from the album Lord Buffalo. It uses a lot of toms, and has a lot of activity across the whole kit, so it felt like a good choice to show off the drums a little bit.
I get a lot of questions about the gear I use, so I decided to make some videos explaining each piece of the kit. Brace yourself, this is full on nerdery territory here, with backstories, explanations, demonstrations, and even clips from actual songs you can find anywhere you get music from.
I recommend listening on good speakers or headphones. The depth and richness of some of the sounds is extremely hard to appreciate through phone or computer speakers.

The heads are just Remo clear emperors on top and clear ambassadors on bottom for the toms. The trash can floor tom has the head it came with on it, and there's no markings, so I honestly don't know what it is, but it's probably either a clear ambassador type head or a clear timpani style head. The bass drum is Evans EMAD batter and stock Ludwig resonance head, and the snare is stock Ludwig heads top and bottom. Those should all be available at most drum shops, music gear shops, and online retailers that are out there. Does that help?

I think you're talking about the 20" Paragon Diamondback china and the 22" Crescent Element china. Are they the ones that have rivets in them?

Does anyone else find "clicky" sounding bass drums annoying? Great playing, I just like my bass drums to sound "basey" not "trebley"

Yeah, I haven't quite dialed the production in yet for the bass drum, but I do need have both low end and click once I try to put it in a mix with the rest of the band, otherwise it's hard to hear the articulation of what's being played.
