I mean….I got to gold just spamming Garen and I didn’t know what the enemy champs spells or combo. Lots of ppl think they can flash the Garen ult, but once I press R, that Demacia pain is coming.

It's weird that people can't really flash that to "cancel" just by getting out of range, but there are ingenius ways to "cancel" the ult if Garen's the one being pushed off while casting it

@@120rikeshlawoju8 as far as I know, getting out of vision does not help, as long as Garen has started channeling it. It's either you get invulnerable/untargetable in some shape or form, or you get to CC Garen himself just to stop that very short window where he channels it. Once he gets to channel the ult uninterrupted, just getting out of range is not enough

I feel like quickcast and locked cam are not game breakers till well into emerald/diamond. (As long as you move the cam around manually and check minimap often or use f keys) There are so many more important game mechanics that will make you climb other than trying to minmax or relearn certain things. For example as adc I find a-clicking a much more important mechanic to learn than free-cam or quickcast, though quickcast is pretty easy to get used to

Toplane is so volatile that you win some but you lose some also. That's why one-tricking is the best solution in climbing especially for beginners coz later you can just focus on macro stuff to gain advantage in laning phase. In low elo, people just kamikazee so to get to a higher elo one must change mindset.

I will say even though it is ABSOLUTLY OVERWHELMIMG, the best place for any completely new player to start is jungle, not only do they learn about the jungle role which can help massively when swapping to another lane but the entire purpose of jungle is observing the state of your other lanes and playing around your team which certainly allows a player to learn a lot about the other lanes making the transition a lot smoother, especially in a lane like top where if you get behind against someone who knows what they are doing your game is virtually over. This is only enhanced and coupled when playing with someone else who is educating you.

New players who start out with jungle are fkn cancer to deal with for unranked enjoyers, they do rando shit like taking waves from laners for no reason, towerdiving a mundo at full health. Stuff like that, matches with new junglers are hell. Also matchmaking for unranked is really bad, especially for regions who don’t have draft pick, it is very common to have brand spanking new players with 1 hour old accounts and diamond 1 players in the same game.
