Big Fan _ Going to post this on as many of your uploads as I can. You see, good Sir, it won't get many votes from your subs because though everyone knows the chorus, nobody ever remembers the title or the artist. This song could not be more relevant than it is today. When the tear forms in your eye and the hair stands up on your neck, you'll understand why I keep posting this to you. Good Sir, John Farham -You're The Voice Hair raising.

Man.....as a guitarist myself, I cannot do anything but marvel at the skill and precision that this young lady posesses. Glad to hear that she's pursuing a higher level of education, but at the same time. ...there's so much raw talent here that should not be tossed aside. This girl needs to be onstage sharing her gift with the whole world. She'd be a perfect fit in the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, a perfect marriage of classical and metal. Which, IMHO, are truly one and the same. Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Paganini were the first metal musicians, they just did it on the piano instead of the guitar.
@slayerem
@slayerem 3 жыл бұрын
@@Impalaman1968 she had a good time on youtube as her stage, I don't know of any concerts of hers but there are youtube videos of widely known guitarists reacting to her playing their songs... the guitarist from Dragonforce (Lee) watching her play through the fire... or Steve Vai watching her play For the love of God. She's close to 1 million subscribers on her youtube account and she hasn't released anything in 3 or 4 years... not bat I'd say.

Listen to it... she is playing it at the tempo called out by Ludwig Van himself - "presto agitato" which is about 255 beats per minute. The Sonata was written for piano. He was the flat-out best pianist of his day. Not more than a couple dozen people in the world can play this brutally difficult piece at that tempo. And she makes it look easy.

I almost threw up listening to this, her skill is so incredible, her take on the fills, the timings, it is so unreal, simply unreal. I shed tears over this. Without a doubt, one of the most amazing things I have ever seen and heard. I DO take in her age, this is what set everything apart. A Master. I wish I could explain it all to everyone that does not understand what is going on, I feel it would have no place as those of us that know, can understand. Just Magnificent...

No, no. No No. Looking is something you get over fairly early on on any instrument. Things move far too quickly for visual feedback. Anyone who can't play in a pitch black room hasn't spent enough time to be a journeyman, let alone master-level playing, on any instrument. You don't try to do this it just comes as a side effect of playing the heck out of something for long enough. And there a plenty of 'journeyman' players who are terrible musicians so it is definitely not any measure of quality. Please, meet a musician, we don't bite, or not a lot!

And the 3rd, 7th, 9th, all the symphonies in fact, and sonatas, concertos, etc, etc, etc. And he ended up totally deaf. He couldn't play the piano anymore. But he could still play inside his head and he wrote it all down for us to enjoy. Hail LvB and all those who are skilled and dedicated enough to bring his music to life. And Hail Tina S. This is difficult enough on the piano. Insane for a guitar.

Beethoven’s most famous piano sonatas are from his early-mid career, before his deafness had set in. And the piano was his instrument, so he played most of those Sonatas live to Viennese audiences back in the day. And had a reputation for playing loud-with enough force in his fingers to break lower-end pianos of his day.

She started with classical music and acoustic guitar when she was 6. She said in an old interview that this was like what a video game is for some people. She just focuses and practices until muscle memory takes over. That's lots of work even with her skill(s). Rumor is she hung it up when she went to college to concentrate on her studies. Also, some say the trolls got to her. When she quit, she wiped her channel. Folks cried so much she brought back some of the clips and that is the way it has been for 4 years now. Thanks for this one Jamal! A special reaction to a special video. One of my all time favourite youtube videos...what makes me laugh is the wannabe guitarists who jump on this criticising her technique and her facial expressions! Ok guys, post your version and let's compare! ;)

100% spot on. There were a number of guitarists that posted on her video that said it`s time to donate their guitars to goodwill. So, many of us guitar players including myself have nothing but the utmost respect for Tina S!! Just wow wow wow wow!!

She has more skill in her pinkie than I have in my whole body. Speaking of which she has an incredible skill with her pinkie and is not lazy like a lot of guitarist who have no pinkie dexterity.

To answer some of your questions: She holds that guitar like a classical guitar player, because that is where she started before she switched to electric. That arrangement of Beethoven's a 3rd movement of the Moonlight Sonata was originally by Dr. Vlossy, so technically this is a cover. The S. stands for her last name, Setkic. Oh, as for a recommendation for another Tina S. video; my favorite has always been "Arpeggios from Hell". a cover of an instrumental by Yngwie Malmsteen.
