She took her gift and talent seriously and simply worked at it. So keep your dreams alive, focus and get it done. You may not end up nearly as close to this because whatever your limits are, just accept and get it on with. Tina Setkic, French,born 7 April 1999. My personal number one guitarist. Thanks for choosing this cover. The last of her, recorded in 2016. Between 2012 and 2016, sixteen Tina S covers were recorded, all of them true masterpieces. Enjoy this lineup: 1. "Arpeggios from hell" - Ingwie, Malmsteen; 2. "The Loner" - Gary Moore; 3. "Through the Fire and Flames" - DragonForce with Herman Li; 4. "Altitudes" - Jason Becker; 5. "For the Love of God" - Steve Vai A nice reaction. Thanks.

Your expression says it all. I had a girlfriend who made it big as a concert pianist who told me this was the most difficult piece to master. And then a 17 year old absolutely kills it. Possibly the finest piece of musicianship I have ever seen.
@deansouthwick1906Ай бұрын
@@timbrom Honestly, reactions like that are why I watch reaction videos. Like having a concert pianist watch this, or a guitarist - so much to learn, and sometimes their reactions to her brilliance is utter shock. It was the pianist who told us that this was flawless, and that she didn’t miss a note…and there are over 2400 of them.

Tina S broke the internet in her teenage time: elected best guitarist prodigy on YT several years in a row, praised by the greatests such as Steve Vai, Jason Becker, Herman Li, …. All her covers from that period are insane: I especially love Altitudes, For the Love of God, The Loner, Through the Fire and Flames, … Then after posting this video she disappeared for 7 years and only resurfaced last year. She is now in a band called Spin Twice, and composes the music of the band. Just a side note: her guitar teacher, Renaud Louis-Servais, is the man who recorded this and is very famous as a teacher ww. He did train for instance Dany Villareal from The Warning.

I think my favorite is Dragon force's cover. She cranks out over a 2 minute riff there which has very defined repeated, incredibly fast note playing there where she doesn't miss a single note. I think that play gets to everyone that hears it. When I heard that I was thinking that they're ain't NOBODY on this rock that could do that, not even Herman Li.

Her “trick” on tapping with those “extra fingers” is that she tucks her pick away and frees up her digits enough tap until she transfers back. Another note: How clean and perfect are her pinch harmonics? Her hand strength is unreal. And this is a 6 minute song.

Yes, I've seen this video quite a few times and I always get a charge out of first-timers' reaction to it - usually their jaws drop, hit the floor, rebound, and drop again - sort of like yours did. 😁 Not long ago, I watched another guitarist react to this and, after watching Tina S, he said he was seriously thinking about selling his guitars and finding something else to do. I mentioned in my comment to him: "Before you do, consider this: not everyone can be an Einstein or Da Vinci (or Tina S), but there's still plenty of room for physicists and artists (and guitar players). As the late great Vince Lombardi (head coach of the Green Bay Packers many, many moons ago) once said: “Gentlemen, we will chase perfection, and we will chase it relentlessly, knowing all the while we can never attain it. But along the way, we shall catch excellence.” Don't let Tina S's excellence deter you from chasing perfection. On a scale of one to ten, Tina S. is easily an eleven or twelve, but it didn't just fall out of the sky and land on her; between a certain amount of born talent and relentlessly practicing, that's what makes her one of the best guitar players I've ever seen. The story I gathered is that she practiced this piece for two solid months, and it shows - she rarely looks at her fingers or the fret board because she has acquired the muscle memory through so much practicing - she KNOWS where her fingers need to be.

They grew up hearing me play guitar almost every day when they were growing up. What I will say to you is to go for the "feel", the Blues is where to start. @leecowell816523 күн бұрын
She's gifted. People playing this fast can do it for a few seconds but she never stops. This is over 6 minutes long and she does not miss a single note. Many have commented that its impossible simply because the picking hand would cramp up. But she bangs those strings while chewing gum and not even bothering to look most at the guitar most of the time. Even REMEMBERING all these notes is phenomenal in its own right. So not only is she playing at an incredible rate she remembers them. People are NEVER satisfied! She sounds great in her new band too and yeah her appearance has drastically changed. But its STILL our Tina, people do not forget that NOBODY plays at her level so remember that when you watch her. I think that as she matures she'll eventually go the Steve Vai, Gary Moore route but remember that she's currently a humble girl which prefers NOT standing out in the crowd. She's also super smart which is gonna make for choosing friends very carefully. Give her some time...
