watching this run knowing that mult is doing literally nothing for this run and yet half of his jokers are dedicated to adding or multiplying mult made this one of the most frustrating things I've ever watched

Shows how OP plasma deck is with a great chip joker. Soooo many misplays and still gets the dub. When he steeled up the 7 right next to the red seal 3, I vomited. This is why I watch Lud.

Smeared joker overrated. Chips are way more valuable in plasma deck anyways. Ludwig made the better play

@connorhayes2374 since he's playing plasma id normally agree but with foil lustful will add 50 to your chips/mult when no hearts and 65 when all hearts or diamonds and ensures an easy good hand, odd Todd would need 2 odds to get to 62 and he was playing single cards all throughout the run cuz he couldn't get a good hand, it worked out for him but getting +31 on every odd card only gives you +31 5/13 times, In other words he chose a joker that gave him a large amount of chips if you got the right cards as opposed to basically guaranteed flushes with a constant +65 with the potential to get jokers that further buff diamonds/hearts, now if you think that's better, totally fair but you can't say it's not more reliant on luck

@@ellieteller8090 It’s very hard to win gold stake with a flush build so for that reason I generally try to build into other hands first. Flushes scale poorly

@@connorhayes2374don’t fall into that trap chips are good early but mult is still way better because it scales basically exponentially. In higher stakes a chips only run is pretty difficult.

obelisknis great if you get it mid-late run and have the ability to pivot to a new hand type (ex. three/four of a kind build to five of a kind is an easy switch once youve got your deck fixrd to the card you want) its terrible early game unless you dont need the slit for something else in the meantime

I can watch him play League because I don't know enough about League to recognise the misplays But Balatro? This is going to be unwatchable I can feel it.
