The worst part is that Lud definitely could get better. I agree with Tarik. There's no way Lud is playing at a plat level. His aim and awareness give that away. He's such a smart individual that if he actually invested in learning the game's mechanics and macro strategy instead of just queuing into games, he could be Dia/Ascendant in a few weeks. Instead of "I hired a pro to beat my roommate" I'd love to see "I hired a pro to coach me to ascendant". It's an investment, but I can tell Lud actually really likes playing Val so it's not like he'd just be doing it for a video.
