@Old_Ladies2 ай бұрын
I broke my thumb using an e-scooter. I had to get 3 pins put into my thumb as my thumb was detached from my hand. I also fractured my elbow but only needed a sling for a couple weeks. Thankfully I didn't hit my head as I was a dumbass with no helmet. That scooter could nearly get up to 50 km/h. Thinking now of how stupid and reckless it was to be going that fast without and protection. Glad when I did fall I was only going around 12 km/h. I haven't rode an e-scooter since and sold mine. There are crazy ones that you can go over 100 km/h or over 60 miles per hour. Stupid. I'll stick to bikes now even though e-scooters are fun to ride but they are just too dangerous.

6:59 For those that want to watch frame by frame just pause it and use the comma and period key to move back and forth. For mobile user this is what michael said 1st frame: "This is the shitty model I made in fusion 360. I usually dont model things out I build but wanted to not have to guess how long to cut every peice of tubing. So this is what we're trying to build. also I still ended up having to guess how long to cut every piece of tubing. 2nd frame: "Here we go I cut up a f*ckton of tube steel, but didn't follow that model exactly because I don't know why." 3rd frame (Aforementioned cleanup): "Laying out the steel in a rough shape to get an idea of what the frame's going to look like in real life, also to figure out where I got to cleam up for welding." 4th frame: "I do not knowif I spelled aforementionedcorrectly and I am not going to do spell check for a bit that 3 people are going to read." 5th frame:" Tacking up the steel in what I think are the right positions. I think you do this to keep tthings in place in case the clamps fall off, but in reality I do it because the youtube video that taught me how to weld did it and I've never questioned it." 6th frame:" Yessir just good ol weldin in the garage got a miller light and my BTS welding helmet on. Stan Jin" 7th frame: "You got to grind the millscale (outer layer of weird metal, honestly not sure what it is) off the metal for better quality welds. We'll weld it to that thing in the top right corner of the screen." 8th frame: "ahahah dumbass" 9th frame: "ayy not welding. This is maybe my second time using a lathe which is why st still seems like a good idea to remove steel chips with that metal ruler in my hand." 10th frame: "Realistically this took me 15-20 hours to make I do not know what I was doing and still dont. thank god blondiehacks' lathe tutorial videos exist. also I crashed the lathe and this part shot out once." 11th frame: "all to hold 2 of these bearings so scooter car can turn." 12th frame: "I should have looked online instead of making it stuff like this for sure exist I just dont know the name of it, could have saved so much time but if I think about that I will throw up." 13th frame: "Now tacking on some tube steel I cut in half hotdog style to get a good mounting surface for the frame." 14th frame: " This was the scariest part. when weld gets too hot and cools down too fast it can cause the metal to warp, which would f*ck my cool part I spent forever on. So i just went on youtube shorts after every weld to give the heat time to spread evenly through the part. also because I have tiktok brain." 15th frame: "Test fitting the bearing holder on the pin that will hold it in place. by the grace of god it did not warp." 16th and 17th frame: "plasma cutting some plate here at least I was until the plasme cutter blew out my breaker." 18th frame: "This is what little joy a person can feel after being covered in metal chips and coolant for 12 hours/day god bless the parts kind of fit together or I would have lost it." 19th frame: "If you weld a nut onto a stick, it counts as a bolt don't let anyone tell you different." 20th frame: " This is the plate steel I cut out earlier , it's making a.. cage for the bearing i guess. i don't ever work with anyone else so I've never learn what these things are actually called they will live as nebulous nameless concepts in my head until the day I die which is probably soon." 21th frame: " remember that warping i talked about earlier? not sure what this emotion is , ill just call it realized your parts dont fit together." 22nd frame: "Usually desperations breeds innovation , but here it breeds putting your part in a vise and bending the sh*t out of it." 23rd frame: "self explanatory"(Michael happy) 24th frame: "rise and grind gamers lets get this bread" 25th frame: " bent 45 degrees to meet the pivot point. also see that drill next to my nuts this is the best sh*t ever. it's a manual height adjustment table but I slapped my drill onto the crank and now it's like a powered standing desk and also way cheaper than a motorized one and also it's wireless and also it's a nice place to keep my drill." 26th frame: "welded the cage thing on looks poggers though it took forever to clamp up , felt like this was 50% clamping and measuring 10% welding and 50% blacking out at the lathe." 27th frame: (Michael sad) 28th frame: " this is not happiness i have simply inhaled too many weld fumes and dont remember what im doing anymore . the smile will soon fade." 29th frame: "the fusion 360 stress simulation system can suck nuts just jump on it to see if it feels right." 30th frame: "sneezed" 31st frame: "also this is the front half it looks like the rear half but.." 32nd frame: "it's in the front" 33rd frame: "wasn't sure if this will fit" 34th frame:" i am the best goddamn metal smith of all time none are greater i can do anything, i could weld the sun to the sky, the breeze to the wind i could angle grind the very concept of love" 35th frame: " Yummy wummy fumes" 36th frame: " this is what metal fumes does to a mfker" 37th frame: "finally assembling this massive piece of sh*t" 38th frame: (Michael happily sitting on the frame)

He's 100% violating the user agreements on the scooter, but those aren't laws. There's probably issues with driving an unregistered vehicle, though. Vehicles with more than 3 wheels on a street usually qualify as a "car". This lacks brake lights, windshield, etc so it's probably not street legal.
