Aloha Plant Lovers! This week's video features Ludwigia Peruensis / Gladulosa Variant. 'Diamond'. Often sold as Ludwigia Diamond. I bought this plant as an emersed bunch. Wasn't sure what would happen as I had never seen Ludwigia Diamond before. Quickly this plant began to show its uniqueness. The plant has large reddish leaves, and thick stems. However, as far as ludwigia's go, this plant is fairly compact. Making this plant ideal for mid and background. With its large foliage and thick stems, this plant tends to NOT overcrowd and can be planted fairly dense. I really appreciate the unique texture (as well as color) this plant adds. Care is easy, as long as you have bright lights, co2, decent fertilizers and adequate flow to keep all parts of the plant well nourished. I'll need to revisit this plant again in the future (once I have a free tank). Thanks for watching! 💚🌱
