I'm Jimmy the Bishop co founder..The Nunn family and Lavender family are very close and loving of one another.....Rest well Silvia. Bo pete...Bobby and Brenda...In a comment someone say Bishop had lost lives in 72...skip was killed June of 72 he wasn't a Bishop he death is what started Bishop...And for the truth of history no Bishop died during Bobby's leadership from 72/74....shot yes but death no...1973 he mentioned got tough when Bounty hunters. Bishops and Pirus became allies...its true this was the year we became Allies..Also Bishop with the outlaws...in my opinion Lueders Park Pirus.was our number 1 Allies....rest well and I miss my good friend the piru they called Bartender.....This gang shit is just not where it's at.....My book Bitter rain..holds no punches...its 90% complete......

@@jimmylavender3895 Thanks for you response! I could never call myself a "street" cat. I grew up in humble circumstances but can never say that I ever went to sleep without a meal or roof over my head. Actively striving for a change regardless of past situations or even faulty beliefs that one may still harbor is to me the most commendable thing a person can do. Everybody should go to Louis Burgers across the street from leuders Park. Some of the best burgers in town. S/o Compton hub city from a watts native

Used to get some bomb ass burgers on Alondra and Oleander in the mid 80's! With a black cherry soda. 💯

I remember when there was a bowling alley across from the park. In the 60's . When more blacks started moving in they started shutting s---- down.
@pharoah12004 жыл бұрын
@@marvinstovall3661, Damn! You went back on that one. I don't even remember the bowling alley. Is that what was there where the vacant lot was for many years? They use to throw the carnivals right there next to Louie Burgers. There's apartments there now, but I didn't know about the bowling alley. I remember Sears, Boys Market, the Compton Drive-In, and the IHOP, right around there though 😼
@marvinstovall36614 жыл бұрын
@@pharoah1200 There wasn't a boys market there. There was a Market Basket. Also a Daniels Jewelry store , Tom Mccann's and Gallencamp shoe store.

If you are a real OG Blood from way back and is still alive now then that tells you right there how much heart you had to have back then to be flamed up. Wearing a lot of red back in the 80s meant you didn't care about getting shot at on sight.
