Luffy didn't beat a Yonko, he beat THE Yonko! The one the entire world said no one could ever beat in one on one combat. Blackbeard and revolutionary army Arc hopefully will be next then a Shanks and Elbaf Arc. I hope it is Shanks and crew that get in Luffy's way before Laughtale, that would have so much emotional weight.

He fell of a Sky Island and complained about a slight headache, he took a full beating from gear fourth, then complained it sobered him up. Since his introduction the story has set him up as nigh invincible solely so defeating him could be Luffy's defining feat of becoming a truly great pirate. Even Zoro full strength using conquers, was merely a small cut that would leave a scar to Kaido.

I may be trippin but based on the wish of Imu to "cleanse" the world, I wouldn't be surprised if they gave no bounty at all to Luffy, and even going as further as removing the current one so they can start erasing his presence from the world. And technically there is no need of addressing a higher bounty since we pretty much have no bounty hunters revealed in the world capable of taking big fishes like Luffy, and the shichibukais who worked as "pirate hunters" for the government no longer are supported, so there is no incentive to increase his bounty, it would only raise questions about his importance and threat level.

Not acknowledging Luffy's Trio of Enies Lobby, Impel Down and Marineford has been bugging me for years now.. In the One Piece World.. I hope Oda brings it up by an official of somekind. Maybe a Marine briefing others about Strawhat Luffy and why his bounty got doubled/tripled whatever.. As you said.. He attacked Enies Lobby with his crew and threw the island into chaos. Buster call damage was blamed on the Strawhat Pirates, but whatever. They all escaped alive. His mission was a success. He/they also declared war on the WG. He broke into and out of Impel Down. That was a first. Shikki broke out and apparently Who's Who got out somehow.. Breaking IN... that's new. Damn brave and brazen. As said in the video.. he releases a ton of prisoners and escapes sucessfully. Sorry Blackbeard, but you were the second after Luffy. Then IMMEDIATELY after the Impel Down Prison Break he heads to the Marineford war with those prisoners and helps turn the war in favour of the Whitebeard pirates. He actually manages to release the prisoner meant to be executed and the reason for the war. He just has the damn key.. Like what the Hell :D Okay, they had to Plan B the key with wax, but Jeeez... So the war goes sour for the Whitebeard Pirates and Luffy escapes. Presumed dead or maybe alive.. ALIVE. He turns up a few days later at Marineford AGAIN with Dark King Rayleigh?!? and Jimbei :D GUTSY. It not being brought up as an incredible accomplishment does bug me. His crew includes Nico Robin, he declared war on the WG, attacked all three WG Islands and apparently the Gorosei knew all along Luffy has an incredibly troublesome DF (Plothole hello)... Of course he should have been target number one for a looong time. The Governement shouldn't have just made Law a Shichibukai. They should have interrogated and tortured him: "WHERE DID YOU TAKE STRAWHAT AFTER MARINEFORD? WE HAVE TO KNOW!! We will find him and eliminate him. Orders from the throne, I mean.. up top..ehm ehm.." I am looking forward to the News Coo chapter.. And they better list up why the Strawhat Pirates are now the most wanted Pirates down to the details, cause I want to read it just like that.. PS: Please Oda.. to the phrase "5th Yonko Luffy defeated the Yonko Kaido"... I want to see Moria's face go from shock to a smirk.

In my opinion, the fight against Rocks needs to be considered at a crew level. Did Garp and Roger both fight Rocks? Or did Roger fight Rocks while Garp fought another tough Rocks ally or the #2 (like Luffy and Kidd/Law vs. Kaido and Big Mom). We don't really know, but I'm thinking with Rocks being Roger's direct/first rival, Roger took on Rocks while Garp protected the celestial dragons and their slaves. That's the difference in their missions and purpose in being in God's Valley.

The Pirates who were there with Rocks were at least Linlin, Kaidou and Whitebeard. It's not Roger and Garp vs Rocks, it's Roger and Garp vs the Rocks Pirates as far as we know, as all of the original Yonkou other than Shanks were Rocks Pirates. Chapter 957, page 7 has the panel showing all the Yonkou and Rocks against Roger and Garp so the information given in this video is off. I imagine that it was left to lower ranked marines to directly protect the Celestial Dragons, while Garp and Roger spearheaded the main force. We'll have to see though.

I just realized something. Devil Fruit users can't swim in any fluid. So one would assume that Kaido and Big Mom would drown in the Magma. But then again Magma is as dense as the rock it's melted from, so it shouldn't be possible for a person to sink into it. Then again Kaido and Big Mom are presumably quite heavy. And also One Piece does follow cartoon logic.

5.6 has been building up for a long time. Not sure how Oda is planning on handling it. I think Luffy's bounty will jjump to 5B after Wano then maybe another jump to 5.6B. Sometimes the obvious answer is the correct one.

Whitebeard was probably the second in command on Rocks ship and Kaido + Big Mom always understood that he was much stronger than them, Kaido probably catched up somewhat when he got older and after he ate the fruit but WB was probably still to them like Zoro to Sanji. Because of their past they respected his strength and wouldnt dare fight him even when he got old and sick, though its not clear to me weather or not they knew he got sick. And Shanks wouldnt abuse WB's sickness because he had a good personal relationship with him.

I'm definitely with you there, I actually made my predictions more tame. I thought that following the formula he would have around 4.7 B minimum and by going with round numbers he would get 5 B but the fact that he will for sure remind the WG of "presumably" their biggest nemesis from the void century Joyboy and the potential he has shown by being part of an alliance that, the world will most likely think of as his idea and take down 2 yonkos with it, that will make his bounty sky rocket to the famed 5.6 B. I then thought about it and made it 6 B instead cause the WG now seems to basically acknowledge him as the main character of this history they're in. I could now though totally see him get an insane increase, insane to both the people of the one piece world and the readers, of 10 B as you proposed. Nonetheless this is hype and we might indeed get the bounties soon. Edit : grammar

Saying that Roger has never beat any of the Yonkou is very unlikely to be true. The battle at God Valley was Roger and Garp vs the Rocks Pirates, not just Rocks himself, whose notable members were Linlin, Kaidou and Edward Newgate aka 3 of the 4 future Yonkou. They're even all in a panel on page 7 of chapter 957 where we learn about Garp's role in the God Valley incident during the Reverie arc, so we know they were all there. We also later learned that this was where Linlin gave Kaidou his DF, which is implied to have potentially saved his life in some way. Unless Garp went 1 vs 3 on all of them while Roger fought Rocks, then it's very likely Roger contributed heavily to the Yonkou's defeat, and Garp's attitude towards the incident really makes it seem that way.

Marco is even kinda subservient to Luffy as well and understands they are the next generation, probably because of his downfall to teach so Marco probably thinks that Luffy will eventually be forced to avenge his "father" due to his end goal and Marco probably feels it was actually his place to do this but will entrust it to luffy in his place since he already failed to do so

Also, there aren't many hand to hand combat characters that can hurt Luffy now. Remember when Kaido one shotted G4 Luffy? Well, remember when Kaido got so, so, so many insane hits on G5 Luffy and he still kept going? Now Luffy's durability is quite insane. Attacks just bounce back.

I think that Luffy is going to get his Final Bounty here. Whether or not the Chosen One who is destined to take down the Celestial Dragons will have a higher bounty than his father, the one who is actively trying to accomplish just that, is entirely up for debate.

The Roger big mom thing is probably different based on who you talk to. Remember BM said he used the voice of all thing. But Roger said he took a rubbing by force. So I'd say it's more likely he did something similar to Luffy.
