This is what I don't really get tbh. As I understood it, the problem in Sabaody wasn't that it was impossible to get the collars of, but that they would explode the moment you tried to take it off. They then had this scene where Rayleigh waited after activating the bomb inside. If it was just armarment, why would he need to wait in the first place?

I agree. The SSJ sound effect put me off a bit. OP has its own collection of unique sounds so I dint get why they could reuse or create a different one. It didn’t match the scene at all

@@generalyousif3640 Both yes and no. In general terms, yes. The settings and characters look clean af, but they really mess up with the auras, unnecessary tension where there shouldn't be any and power scaling. And sadly, they mess up those parts severly, way worse than any arc before ever.

@@MonkeyDLuis-jh1sg Nothing to do with that. Hidenori Arai, from JetSoundEngine (which has nothing to do with Toei either), is the sound designer for One Piece. He also worked on both Dr. Slump anime, every single animated Dragon Ball media till Super and non-Toei stuff like Slayers.

I just love that they are still using the same sound effects after 30 or more years, the Haki activation sound is the same used way back in Dragon Ball (in particular during the Super Sayan status) and the explosion too is a very reused sound
