I appreciate that the details of the horrors Boa and her Sisters went through as slaves are left vague. There’s the obvious implication, and we’ve already seen the inhumane shit the CD’s do to their slaves. So being vague just lets our minds wonder to the worst, which is far better than if it was just said.

Oda is a master at this, and it should be one of the big taekaways for aspiring writers. The use of ‘off screening’ numerous fights and epic meetings between characters means that we as the audience have nothing but head cannon. It’s one of the big things that keeps the fandom moving, imo. Because it creates so much discussion that could never actually be proven false or true due to the fact we never get to see

I have watched a lot of people react to this series because I am always chasing the dragon. I just want a hit of that sweet sweet first experience again. Anyways, you've been one of my favorites to follow. Super great energy, and you pay REALLY good attention compared to most anime reactors (though manga reactors tend to be on another level of attention to detail), and you got great emotional reactions when the scenes call for it.
