I think there's a deeper story here. Kuma went to Marijois to get someone to hit him hard enough to potentially kill him to get rid of the chip and any control they installed on him, like Obito getting Kakashi hit him with chidori to remove Madara's control. This situation explains why he went to Marijois, where else can he find a person to do that quickly and willingly. Also explains why he suddenly left Marijois the moment Akanui destroys his face.. the control is gone, time to get Bonny.

I mean duh. I've been saying this since Bonney entered the memory bubble. I knew she would see nothing happening in real time and then there would be no choice for her but to join Luffy and his badass friends. If you go back and look at how Bonney was complimenting Sanji, and note Luffy's reaction, it implies she had been fangirling the Straw Hats all morning. So many signs, but the Yamato/Carrot PTSD is still fresh so I don't blame people for ignoring those signs. Shanks and Bonney both randomly appeared on the then future pirate king's ship. Both were children, both are celestials. Luffy's apprentice will probably have a few qualities that make them Ideal. They will probably have some qualities that mirror Luffy and other qualities which fill in Luffy's flaws, making them a potent duo. As for the mirroring traits, Bonney's ability to throw mega punches, and her appetite are perfectly in line with Luffy. As for the synergistic traits, she has street smarts thanks to Connie, and seems to have a wealth of knowledge about the world due to her shut in arc. So, also perfect. She might also be able to nullify the aging side effect of Luffy's fruit. As well, the existence of Nika seems to empower Bonney's fruit. So the synergy goes both ways. I mean if Oda was ever going to introduce another proper Straw Hat, this would be the flashback to do it with. Many people are saying this is the best backstory in One Piece. Recency bias is a thing, but man, I can never remember crying so much for so many chapters in sequence. As well as just crying whenever I think about it deeply. Dragon is still across the world at this point. Why are people so insistent that she's going to join the revs when there's not a single representative here on Egghead except Robin? People just need to face the fact that Dragon isn't showing up here. Dragon doesn't even know where Kuma went. Lol.

Saturn's devil fruit has something to do with shadows. He can lock a persons shadow in place or something. This would immobilize them. The power system of shadows isn't inherent to the Kage Kage no Mi, but through it we learn that you can control somebody by manipulating their shadow. The reason Kuma can't be controlled is that he's dead, and thus doesn't have a shadow. Moria showing up would be a parallel to Thriller Bark. Kuma showed up to help Moria and his daughter, Now Moria comes to help Kuma and his daughter. You know, if Moria has been hiding on the island it's possible he or perona gave him food. Both brick bat and mini holo are capable of that.

Moria puts his shadow in a target and then can manipulate their body. We know you can put shadows in living humans, so shadow revolution should work on living beings. Though it probably doesn't last long enough to be effective in combat, as most humans don't retain shadows placed in them for very long. Regardless, a rule was established. The shape of the body will change to match it's shadow. If a secondary effect of Saturn's mythical zoan awakening allows him to freeze people's shadows, that would achieve the effect of paralysis.

I think next chapter will be an action packed one. Once Luffy gets food he’s usually good to go right after he digests. Bonney wants to believe that Nika will save her dad. Kuma is NOT beating Saturn, although I think he will damage him. That punch just gotta land with Kuma’s entire life behind it. I think Kuma will be washed, and Luffy/Nika will save him in gear 5, then he’ll start fighting Saturn and both Bonney and Kuma will see Nika in totality. I don’t think Luffy is beating Saturn alone, especially since Saturn hasn’t shown all his power/haki cards yet. I think Dragon is coming with Sabo/the rest of the rev in tow, and they’ll beat/kill Saturn and the final war prep will begin afterwards. All of that, especially Saturn being killed, Kuma being killed, Dragon himself making his first public move in the present story, and the strawhats getting away with Vegapunk will shock the world like how the narrator said way back when. I want Bonney to join because of the fact that both carrot and Yamato were set up to join but didn’t and they didn’t have nearly as much chemistry with the crew as Bonney does, especially since Bonney’s a kid, it’d make sense for them to take her in as a last request of Kuma, and she’s a powerful but not too powerful member to where she’d outshine the monster trio, Jinbe, and the main powerhouses of the crew. She’s powerful, but majority of the crew could take her relatively easily if they take her seriously off rip.

I think the Haki makes the most sense as well. However, I think it also makes sense if it IS working, but because of St Saturn (almost assuredly) being immortal could be messing with it. If Bonney's fruit works by what she perceives as 'possible' not knowing immortality exists could mess with that. 1) he can't be aged forward at all And 2) If she tries to age him down, he would have to be aged down all the way to when he first became immortal (again assuming 800 years-ish) which is an 'impossible' amount of time for someone to be alive

Theory, maybe the experimentation that Saturn was doing to make devil fruits was before VP started researching how to do it, but when VP acknowledged what happens with the sapphire scales be asked saturn to take over the project and the thing that lead him to discovering objects eating devil fruit abilities was him trying to make a fruit get an artificial power, which he needed to know how to do to make momos fruit, but he fixed the sapphire scales defect while creating another "making the dragon pink". Actually as you say this, this makes a lot of sense, a commander chip inside of the sapphire necklace that he gave her for her birthday. My initial guest was that it was tracking chip because if you really think about it how is Kuma coming exactly and directly to Bonnie's location without a Vivre Card? Because by now a Vivre Card would have been probably most likely destroyed, right? Shanks has a devil fruit. Devil fruits respond to the users desire. Bonnie's fruit didn't activate until she had the desire to get older. Luffy s fruit didn't awaken until he had the desire to liberate wano . Shanks has always been carefree. With him now having the desire to go after the one piece his devil fruit will activate soon. Shanks using Rodger's moves comes from his desire to be like Rodger's like Bonnie's desire to be like kuma and nika. Ginny being the 8th lady means there were 7 before her. I think the children of the other 7 are the holy knights. They were granted the devil's powers without the sin of eating the fruits.

There are theories that dragon has a “god” fruit (since he’s the worst criminal). And there’s a good chance that he might show up here.. Maybe the father-son duo could possibly allow two god fruits to work together. And if that happens, dragon would be the best person available (after Rayleigh) to teach luffy how to use his “god” fruit. If somehow they defeat this gorosei

Yamato and Carrot are both out of the picture to be strawhat candidates. Carrot already accepted the offer of being the next ruler of the mink tribe and Yamato will either stay in Wano and possibly ends up being Momos wife since theyre pretty much the same age. So its possible Bonney is the secret next strawhat as an apprentice on board. Luffy will hand her his strawhat and she ends up visiting Luffys village meeting Makinos baby the same age as when Luffy met Shanks. Now as for Kizaru after egghead, if he does ends up betraying the organization, he might go rogue just like Kuzan. Possible options for him is either joining the strawhat fleet as an ally or the revolutionary army knowing Dragon used to be in the navy before going against the world government. Him and VF might go together and join the Rev Army since egghead might end up being destroyed in the process.

Yamato never said she was going to stay in Wano. Why is everyone trying to make her said something she didn’t ? She doesn’t want to stay. The girl said that she was staying because she wants to explore the country first just like Oden did before leaving with WB. She spent 28 years imprisoned in Onigashima. Before going to sea, she needs at least to see how the country looks like. That would be just stupid from Oda to make her say like a hundred times that she was going to go and change that all of a sudden. Jinbe litteraly did the same thing. So, why would it be different for Yamato ? Unlike Carrot who technically realised her dream of seeing the outside world, Yamato didn’t. Her dream is what ties the most with the One Piece
