I've thought a bit about a few things for various theories for the 5 elders. The thing that I keep coming back to is that each of them were originally inanimate objects that achieved sentience and awakening into the true form of their devil fruit. Saturn has shown time and time again that pain isn't a factor for him to feel concerned about. We've only seen a few objects with powers, but there's no information on what happens for an awakening. An inanimate object doesn't age. The healing factor could just be due to his fruit as demons in various lores have a healing factor.

I was saying the thing with Saturn as well. The real body of Saturn still being on the ship. I think Saturn has a power like nagato from Naruto. Except instead of needing 6 different bodies for each of pains powers Saturn can just imagine and project a physical body to fight for him. I think the only way to damage Saturn is to imagine him being hurt by hitting the projected body but first needing to be aware of it being a projected body??? Maybe Blackbeard uses his fruit to pull out the devil fruit from the body. I don’t think imu is like vegapunk in terms of him being a satellite like Stella. I think imu is more like judge and maybe Blackbeard in relation to how judge made his (5 kids) with different powers. Imu did the same. I'm guessing like other's have already thought that the Gorosei aren't using devil fruits but the genesis essence of the fruits themselves as Vega Punk explained in his hypothesis, they are able to manipulate the "fabric of dreams/hopes" allowing them to useany ability they need in the given moment. This would also explain how Saturn was able to impart the fruitless powers of imaginative futures.

If you're talking about a 1v5 then I don't think he should win that personally. Like I'd even give Luffy a 1v3 but 1v5 is too much imo, especially if they all function the same way as Saturn where they all have weird abilities and can regenerate. I do believe Luffy will succeed in escaping and making sure everyone else makes it off the island though. I think the Gorosei are going to be more focused on the broadcast than Luffy personally though

If you are able to daydream, your are able to awaken, so are awekening your powers. The imagination part is strongest with being a child like Bonney or being childish like luffy, it drops off when getting older. Like irl some ppl have imagination, some don't. Those who are serious can only use the basic stuff of a devilfruit and what in their thoughs is logical. If the Gorosei isn't really there it would be weird, why they can do more then just a hologram, like stabbing ppl and destroy buildings etc. I do think they got a hive mind kind of thing. Only thing which is weird is that Imu who is like a hive mastermind, needs a den den mushi to communicate. But they are connected somehow. Maybe Imu created those 5 elders himself in someway. And the source of what created them, is the powersource that gives them regeneration etc. So if the powersource is destroyed then all 5 can be damaged etc. Maybe Imu is that powersource himself.

I think the timer is in place so that vegapunk can stop the timer, if there is a miscalculation when he is alive and he could have stopped it or in the case where vegapunk is again brought to life in some weird way. In any of those cases he won't need to broadcast the message to be delivered giving him enough time to stop it. Even the smartest men have to take all such cases into consideration, correct?
