I always love when new people completely unfamiliar with One Piece but also anime in general start watching them, making a reaction, and seeing that they like it, it reminds me of when I saw it for the first time in total blind, the fact of sharing a passion and watching other people take an interest in them and become passionate about them too is simply beautiful, it fills my heart. Shanks and Buggy are only Eleven years old in this Flashbag (I telling you this, bc I thought there were in the End of the Teenager time, but there are kids. )XD Buggy is a great Op character for me. And the Black Hair Man who hits the kids has yellow hair. The Anime doesn't know much at this time, so they did give him the wrong Hair colour.

Oda doesn't like to kill off characters and the baseline durability of all characters is very high. Important characters can die it's just very rare and characters commonly survive attacks that should be lethal such as 20 gunshots to the chest which disappear a couple of episodes later. I and many others would prefer that damage wasn't shrugged off so easily and characters died more often because it adds to the stakes but Oda is already masterful at building stakes and I cannot deny that refusing to kill characters has worked very well for one piece anyway.

to be fair there are human beings in our world who have survived things that they normally shouldnt have, such as 50 stab wounds, shot up a bunch, falling 10+ stories, struck by lightning, etc.

If you want story faster use one pace it cut down on the pacing its a fan made. That cut down on pacing and fillers
