I was thinking; The Nika fruit, the pheonix fruit, and the Op Op no mi. Between the durability Luffy already has, with the phoenix flames, and the ability to teleport and operate on catastrophic injuries that marcos fruit couldn’t heal, Luffy would be a monster. I'm a bit surprised with all the speculation that you weren't brave enough to just give him the chop chop fruit. Mix that with Kizaru's glint glint fruit and Luffy's own DF and he has the strongest "simple" DF combo. Luffy's a creative fighter but otherwise very simple and straight forward.

Right before I clicked on this video I thought of a great second devil fruit for luffy and my idea was shiki’s fruit because it meant he would be able to get buildings, objects and even chunks of the earth itself and make them float into the air and he could make three rubber so he can bounce about the sky at speeds where he is almost invisible and then get a punch onto his opponent before they even realised what happened

I don’t think Luffy would ever get Robin’s fruit even if it’d be crazy OP. But I think we might see the combo. Luffy’s all about freedom, and to that end, he’s empowered tons of ordinary people to improve their lives. I think towards the end of the series he’ll be able to impart some of his Nika power to the crew. It’d be super neat if they all got partial transformations. Like Sanji with his eyebrow turning into a little swirly cloud. Or the same thing with Jimbei’s sideburns

manu if shanks is the haki god and can set his sword on fire without a devil fruit then maybe his haki has sum to do about it and rayley teached luffy how to use haki and they were on the same crew together and luffy only unlocked fire after he learned haki and when he up graded haki the fire got more powerful now you could say thats cause of the haki it self but when he used red roc to fight kaido it did more dmg to him than just regular advanced haki punches so i think when luffy masters his haki he will have fire powers.

If you think about it, Luffy can have any devil fruit in the world. His gear 5 (sun God Nika form) lets him do anything he imagines, with his only limit being his imagination. Luffy still thinks he’s a rubber man, which is why he only uses powered up versions of his normal attack, but if he imagined he had the dark dark fruit, or even magma magma fruit, he can use any of their powers, which like I said before, his only limits being his imagination.

Luffy doesn't need a mera mera no mi cuz he is already about to get the mother flame and will get the _fire_ power and stamina from there. Luffy doesn't even need any other devil fruit because his devil fruit can do everything any other devil fruit can do. Hito hito no mi model:nika can do fire based attacks, can fly (turn air into rubber), use the spin spin move, use the spring spring moves, turn into a giant, has zoan regeneration and durability, can turn people into rubber while touching them, can create shockwaves, can manipulate electricity while in touch, can do anything the user thinks of.
