the contrasts between luffy vs crocodile and doflamingo is really so awesome. crocodile tried to keep himself a secret. he ran an underground organization as its head in secrecy. Luffy punching him from a cave underground was him literally exposing crocodile and his atrocities to the world. he was RESURFACING crocodile to the world for what he really was. literally from the underground. Doffy thought himself of as a god. he was a king. clear as day in front of everyone. everyone knew who he is. Luffy punching doffy to the bottom most floor of the island was literally telling doffy that kings can be brought down, torn down from their high seats. and those who believe themselves to be gods, even they can fall. and fall hard.

"New World Symphony" made this clash feel more majestic and fit. Doflamingo does consider himself a god in a way just like Crocodile. "Saigo No Tatakai" made this clash feel like Luffy was struggling to overpower Doflamingo's God Thread in the anime. But in the manga, he instantly overruled his attack and shot him through the earth, destroying Dressrosa.

I just loved the parallels with Alabasta and Dressrosa. When Luffy beats Crocodile, it’s right before he takes over Alabasta to get Pluton. And luffy punches him through that catacomb and up into the sunlight, symbolizing how crocodiles plans have been exposed to the light. And on the other hand, you have Doflamingo. Who took over Dressrosa and thought of himself as a god. And how does Luffy beat this self proclaimed god? By smacking the crap out of him from above and sending him down to the earth below. Sending the so called god down to earth with us mortals.

This looks and sound wonderful, but the idea "I think" is the contrast contrast of Crocodile been exposed to the light before the disaster and Doflamingo been sink into the abysm he created in this case after the disaster. That's could be why that track wasn't used there because it fits perfectly.
