I need to clarify this: 1. Shanks won't be on Elbaf. They are on journey to stop Blackbeard somewhere. They have to constantly checking Blackbeard's whereabouts 2. While the main crew of Shanks left, there is some fighters who stay at the Elbaf, I believe its Benn Beckmann and Hongo/or Monkey dude.. 3. Gorosei and CP agents may come to Elbaf chasing Straw Hats and Bonney, now they will directly face Benn Beckmann. Beck will fight but it will be off-screen.. but its still good for Beck, we will see things from his perspective and follow his story on Elbaf. 4. We will see Shanks and Mihawk legendary duel through the perspectiv. of Beckmann's 5. Through Beck too, we will see a brief backstory of how Beck met Shanks and his role as Shanks' right man 6. Hongo/monkey dude do fight some CP agents too, but mostly its just skirmish 7. We will see The history of Elbaf Island and the dynamics of The Giants there

i think shanks will have already left the island by the time straw hats reach the elbaf. because shanks need to prepare his plans before he goes for one piece... and with shanks leaving elbaf there would be a reason for the gaints to start a rebelion since the current leader must be supported by shanks. and with such a powerfull pirate supporting the leadership whould leave no chance for rebels. but they would try their thing since they can think of straw hats as not much of a threat since he just appeared among yonkos and must be weak because in wano he contributed the most in defeating kiado but he was not doing it without the help of worst generation. So the gaints rebels wont be afraid of straw hats and would try to cause trouble.... rebels will be defeated. i guess for the favor gaints will let barto club pirates free as they know their connection to straw hats. In fact shanks would have left them on the island for them to reunite with straw hats. or for the support of strawhats if he had sensed rebelion after he had left elbaf.

shanks is not a villain.. u know how stupid oda would be if he wrote that shanks is a villain he would have to explain a ton of shit and by how things are going there's not enoogh time left to have to explain that shanks is this or that... Shanks was the one who had the nika devil fruit, Shanks inadvertently gave Luffy the fruit.. and Shanks is right now seeing that Luffy is the new Joyboy.. Shanks will help and enable Joyboy to live out his mission.. Shanks is Luffy's ally.. He has saved Luffy far too often and has been in his life more so than his own father Dragon.. He tried to save Ace by warning WB about Blackbeard.. He lost his leg because he is betting on the new era. He intervened in the Marineford war, and Ryokugyu assault on Wano while Luffy was recovering. He is clearly on Luffy/Joyboy side. The Elbaf giants didn't just randomly drop on Egghead to aid Luffy against World Government forces if it wasn't for Shanks asking them to. Shanks was mentored by Roger and Rayleigh. You know who else is connected to Roger and Rayleigh? Ace, who was Roger's son. And Luffy, who mentored Luffy. Shanks interevened against Kaido intercepting Whitebeard.. And who did Luffy among the yonko in the new world? Kaido, and Big mom. Not WB, not Shanks. Shanks wants to see Joyboy fulfill his destiny. Marco, Shanks, Rayleigh, they are all rooting for Luffy.

Luffy will not fight shanks. But shanks will die which will help Luffy awaken his gear 5th which will make him not tired and be able to hurt the elders and imu with his flame attack.
