It's a good point, but I think that for Luffy that feeling won't be a problem, at first he will hit him for revenge but Luffy will surely look for a different motivation, more similar to what he is, and in the end he will win. I also think that Akainu in Marineford was already in his prime and the difference with the current one must be very little, he is not a character that gets younger, also it is clear that for Aakinu the use of his fruit prevails over his haki a the time to attack. I do hope to see a good blow from Luffy to Aakinu.

i think everyone forgets how much of a handicap kaido got, had to lift a island got attacked by literally everyone and didnt even dodge the attacks then luffy got to rest like 4 times and then still got beat up and got basically a full stamina revamp and a full heal through gear 5 so no, hes nowhere near pirate king level

Luffy is the MC so of course he's going to win. I like to think Oda will make it more nuanced than Luffy just wins because he's the MC. I hope he goes this route because it's the only weakness in Luffy's Ironclad will.
