Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals SNES version, played on North American SNES console (modded for component video output) with OEM controller (no turbo). Timing is from naming Maxim to breaking the final Doom Island Mystic Stone.
The ending credits to Lufia II run at an unusual framerate that doesn't work well with the upscaling tool I use on my clean recordings, so unfortunately the credits in this video are unintentionally sped up and desynced from the audio.
'No Major Glitches' means no use of the 'Level 0 Glitch' or 'Gratze Hammer Glitch', which can be used to skip major portions of the game. 'No Manipulation' means no scripting of battle outcomes, and boss drops (such as the Catfish Jewel) cannot be used or sold.
Horrendously bad Regal Goblin (which would have ended the run if not for a lucky Horse Rock drop beforehand), a bad movement mistake in Ancient Tower that led to a Maxim death, and a rough Venge Ghost fight, but the rest of the run was quite solid & smashed my sub-4 hour goal! Will probably try a few more times to see if I can get a better early game, but as-is I'm quite happy with this time.
