Puwexil really is one of the greats for RPG speed running, truly awesome to get to see him work his magic on so many of my favorite titles. Thanks for sharing your talents, Puwexil!

Just commenting to say this was my favourite run of the whole event. Just loved all the details you dropped. And I love this game in general, favourite RPG on the SNES.

My favorite game of all time and i still replay it to this day 30 years later.

The $3M Chrono Trigger run was unquestionably the best at any GDQ ever.

This is possibly my favourite game of all time. The speedruns for it are few and far between. Mechanically the game is incredible and the story line is fantastic. Lufia II was the first Lufia game released to the west and it's unfortunately overshadowed by the preexisting success of the Final Fantasy series.

I've loved these two for so long lol...I miss seeing more of Essentia and Brossentia and a few others, but I know life doesn't revolve around speedrunning for most :)

The time slot was rough for NA viewers but I'm glad to have seen you! Grats on the run and thank you for being a figure in the speedrun community. Makes me appreciate my favorite games more.

I've watched puwexil 7 hour FF6 run many, many times. Comes across as the nicest guy in Speedrunning and that vid is class. Couch superb in that video too tbf

2:24:40 Eh...sorta but not really. The concept of Limit Break attacks does NOT originate with Lufia 2, but FF6 (which predates Lufia 2 by a year or so). Every character in FF6 has a unique, extra-powerful attack they can randomly perform when ordered to 'Fight' while at critical HP. FF7's limit breaks are the closest to Lufia 2's IP system. All other such systems differ from each other in significant ways. (FF8's limit breaks work like FF6's only with a much higher frequency, FFX's Overdrive has alternative charging methods, and FF9's Trance effects vary between characters)

I was (what I consider) late getting into watching GDQ, starting with SGDQ 2018. Your show closing run of FF6 100% Glitchless is still one of my favorite to this day. Between that and the Chrono Trigger run in 2019, I was hooked forever (they're also two of my favorite Yetee shirts haha). I didn't have a chance to watch Lufia II from this week yet, but that's my plan for Saturday afternoon. Stay amazing, stay humble, you make it look easy.

Puwexil, your speedrun of Chronotrigger was beyond impressive. I've no idea how anyone could keep every moment of gameplay so streamlined when it's an entirely live event. I mean, that game is NOT like playing TLoZ1-3 through, nor even like CV SotN. 😳 Same with things like Lufia, Robotrek, Seiken Densetsu, etc. Great work.

The first speedrun I ever watched live was SC2 at GDQ2013, and my second was you two running FF9 and I've been hooked since.

Puwexil is one of those guys who I'm always glad to see representing the Lufia 2 community. The guy is just amazing to see play, and super chill. Great run man! *edit* I'll never not be amused by the idea that Guy sees a tank and is so angry that he decides to headbutt it.

I always thought the sphinx’s weakness was heal. At least I thought I used it when I was a kid. I miss seeing the blue devil lol
