Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals SNES version, played on North American SNES console (modded for component video output) with OEM controller (no turbo). Timing is from naming Maxim to breaking the final Doom Island Mystic Stone.
2nd completed run. Some costly deaths to Idura 1 and an overworld encounter outside Dragon Mountain, but a very nice Gargoyles fight.

Pretty sure it was Albert Camus along with a lot of the serialist writers at the time who was opposed to the Eiffel Tower and they all regularly sat in the Eiffel Tower Cafe inside so they couldn't see the structure.

Even on NG+ runs where you get like 4x as much exp the game still took me around 10 hours.

Even just looking at it as an action RPG and trying to ignore what it's a remake of, the Lufia 2 remake is mediocre at best.
