I just want to play traditional jrpgs. GBA continued the SNES/GENESIS/PSONE era, along with PS2, but after that.... eh ok a few titles on DS, but they were really short... we need more stuff like Octopath Traveler and Pier Solar.

@@zylowolf7919 There were quite a few good jrpgs on PS3 too. Thankfully with emulators we can still play all the NES-PS2 era games with vastly upgraded graphics. I guarantee there are many gems that went unplayed by most from those eras.

@@Operations1000 Lufia had a lot of first times for me that feel kind of cliche nowdays honestly. It's the first jRPG I can think of that I played as a kid where the heroes didn't get the happy endings, as well.

Been replaying Lufia 2 and it is really a shame that they didn't reprise this version of the song in that game. The Lufia 2 version sounds like total crap compared to the OG.

Yasunori Shiono did all the sound programming for the game. For the second game, he had a lot more time to study the S-SMP chip and overhaul the sound program.
