This is a more recent review of the same flight, round trip: August 2019 Seattle to Frankfurt- Plane was overbooked and about 1 hour delayed, eventually they were able to seat everyone after a few no shows. Leg room and seat are quite comfortable, however you can tell that the cabin design is quite old. This 747 is quite noisy inside the cabin compared to other new aircrafts Service was decent, one chicken meal (good) and breakfast-eggs (acceptable) Return- Smoother boarding, on time Still quite old cabin Meal quality was really bad, my entire row left most of the meal, it tasted really really bad (beef option with weird tasting pasta and a couple slices of sauteed carrots!! No hot towels served the entire flight Overall: This is my second LH Seattle to frankfurt since December 2018. Quality has gone down and prices have gone up. Still I'd give LH the edge over Air France which I flew May 2019 (Seattle to Paris)

The flight looks really nice. I can say the cabin looks really dated but the seat seems really new. Not the best 5-star Economy Class in the world, but it's a great choice to experience

Landing is smooth. I think old B747 is well maintained. Not like air India aircraft. Even new b777 of air India shivers more compare to this well maintain b747 of Lufthansa . It speaks of reputation of Lufthansa as a Great Airline.

No don’t eat airplane shrimp ever!!! Your stomach will have not so good time I should no bc I was sick on my last flight after eating the shrimp also I like the 3D layout of the interactive map and being able to see the pilots was cool as well!
