I did this flight yesterday on D-AIXN, and good news, Lufthansa improved their long-haul service a ton!

@@thedaimlerden For starters they brought back the 2nd hot meal. Wasn’t quite as good as how I remembered but it was something. Also they had more snack and drink service than in 2022.

I flew this route last week. Thanks for posting. We flew over Iceland and Greenland. All of Canada (including Hudson Bay) was iced over. I flew economy also, and found myself comfortable. Pro tip: the armrest on the aisle seat can be flipped up. You just need to find the latch switch underneath.

Great review Genki! That legroom in economy looks a bit tight but other than that seems like a comfortable aircraft and good one to spend a dozen hours or so.

I've travelled into Frankfurt- Denver plenty of times but not Munich, but I can assure I also love Frankfurt's blue jet bridges. The last time I saw one was in like 2015 or 2017 but I don't think Frankfurt has them anymore :(

Great trip report! You don't see a lot of MUC - DEN trip reports. Damn, this was in August 2021. I think they've up their MUC - DEN frequency to 7X per week.

Another great flight review. I like how you opted for a bag of lollies over an upgrade to business class. The catering you got looked pretty average and its a shame that a legacy carrier doesn't offer any choice of meal. Thanks for sharing your review. As much as I want to try Lufthansa to review on my own channel, I feel it's unlikely to be a great service.

Glad to see they are finally covering those blankets! While I hate the use of plastic, how do I know otherwise it hasn’t been used?!😂 Do you think more meal choices will return? Was this basic economy? or standard? I wanna know if i’m gonna struggle on getting a window seat on Lufthansa basic. Routes are ORD-MUC (A350) and FRA-ORD (747-8). Also nice review

Thank you! It was economy (I bought it through United), but I paid for the seat on Lufthansa before the flight (to make sure I had a window seat). Didn’t want to take my chances :)
