It appears you had a nice flight on Lufthansa back to Chicago. The food looked ok for airline food ...... probably better than United but not anything exceptional. I've always liked flying on Lufthansa since they have comfortable seats and good service.

It was a good flight but I think LH goes a little overboard with its unusual offerings that aren't anything special. Otherwise, can't beat the service on LH, EXCEPT! Just returned from LHR and purser gave me a personal card before take-off, thanking me for flying UAL. A big WOW moment,

If you really wanna indulge, try the Lufthansa First Class next time. Maybe using miles. The food is delicious and the bed comfortable.

It seems to me that United should directly copy Lufthansa's service (amenities, menu, food, beverage, flatware) and they'd have a top notch premium product.
