It’s really sad to see these parked on the runway. The last Lufthansa plane I flew on was D-AIKG, which now operates for Eurowings as OO-SFP. OO-SFP is still flying, and I’m glad that means D-AIKG is not one of those planes sadly standing on the runway.

I love Lufthansa Airlines and love watching them landing and take off but seeing them parked on the runway of the airport makes me feel really sad. That is NOT the purpose of a plane ✈️!! I hope that all airlines will survive this crisis we’re in and that things go back to normal sometime soon.

Maybe its because I dont get to see many a-340 aircraft on the west coast of Canada, but I have become a huge fan of this aircraft. I did not know the Lufthansa had so many of them.

Yeah it's just my favorite airbus aircraft with the almost endless stretched fusellage and the 4 egines (especially the a340-300 with it's tube-like and loud engines) Just a dream Fortunately you're able to see many of those beautiful airplanes in Germany and I've also seen a lot of them. i hope with this much time on their hands that the airlines take this time to clean & disinfect their dirty contaminated planes before taking back to the skies, after all, they are the ones who partly responsible for helping the spread of this deadly virus.. all the years of high overpriced fares and high extra fees are now being taken back from them.

I wish airlines never give up on there boeing 747's as KLM recently did. And if CEO of Lufthansa is reading this please, don't give up on 747's. I hope 747's will continue being built.They are very nice looking especially with Lufthansa's colors. Wow amazing. Thank you.

Don‘t worry. The first planes that will go are the A380s. Those are planned to be sold in 2022. The 747-400 and 747-8i will remain

@@niklasschmi Lufthansa anounced a couple of days ago that six A380, seven A340-600 and five 747-400 are grounded without return. Also three 340-300 of Lufthansa Cityline, ten A320 of Eurowings. Every one of these grounded without return. Doesn't look so good.
