Nice drone footage. You got a good clear day for it, that first hill Ballineden is a tough climb, 🥵. Hope you enjoyed your experience in the Wicklow mountains. All the best 👍

hi Andrew, you're the 2nd person to say the climb up Ballineden was tough, have to say I'm glad to hear others saying it, I was beginning to question myself as I did find it tough going alright. and yea, delighted with the way the weather turned out, thanks again, ed

Nice. I went up to Mulaghanattin last week. That was an adventure. One of the best walks I made in Ireland. Maybe something for you.

Hi, yep, it’s a stunning hike alright, that’s one on the list 😉 I had a short video before of it but had to take it down, due to me not understanding copyright. I have some Timelapse clips in the video from the end of last year. Thanks again. 👍🏻

If you're going to do Lug again, do it from Barravore in Glenmalure, up the Fraughan Rock Glen, and back down by Cloghernagh and Art's Lough.

Eddie, always cool to visit new areas and to be hitting the heights👍 A beautiful looking day and not too busy, though visiting Slieve Donard will be even better😊 The views were great👍

Hi Gerry, for my first time there I couldn't have asked for better conditions to be honest. And yea, thankfully it was quiet, having said that, it was a magnitude of times busier that what I'm used to 😊. The Mournes look like they could be busy also, so I'll have to try and do a midweek, whenever I get the chance, I am looking forward to it.. I feel like I've nearly already been there having watched your vids and Stephen Reids. thanks again Gerry, 👍

the conditions were unreal for it, I'm glad I got it for my first trip up there. Even tho the path is well worn, I'd still want to be familiar with the place before heading up in poor weather. But for this one, absolutely delighted with the weather, dare I say it was almost too hot

Fair play Eddie. The military zone, is called The Glen of Imall. Some nice forest walks in the glen.

I’d ordered the East West map from a shop for Lug and Glendalough as the name details are usually great, but it arrived the day after I did the hike 🤣 if I ever get back I’ll be sorted. Thanks Patrick.

The hollow of the woods is the other side of the glenmalure valley . It is oerhaps the more scenic walk and slightly more difficult terrain . The way you went is the way to go when its snowing .

thanks for that @lifesahobby. I'm not familiar with area at all, and look forward to finding out some more in the future. I see East West maps have a short blog post on it, but until I get familiar with an area I find it hard to put names on places. Thanks for that tho, something for me to keep an eye out for... Ed
