I think you ladies haven't researched the story properly. Americans are disgusted with the insurance companies here that keep denying claims for valid health concerns in order to make more money for their investors. The day of the shooting Blue Cross/Blue Shield another large insurer in the United States put out a statement saying that anesthesia would only be covered for a certain amount of hours according to the procedure that was being done, after that the patient had to pay for any extra. They since have retracted that statement. Insurance here is ridiculously high we put in to it yet get nothing back when we need it, Great Britain has a whole other way for health care but from what I hear it's not much better. So it's kind of the Robin Hood effect really this kid is more of a Robin Hood but unfortunately he picked the wrong way of expressing his frustration with the system. I think one of you said it would be more interesting to find out what turned a person that seemed to have unlimited potential into an alleged killer. Yes society is a mess all over the world so we need to work on why and how to fix it if we can and not let things get so far that a person only sees killing someone else as the only way out, and giving out the news correctly would help a lot. Please read beyond the HOT title and really bring attention to the root cause. It's really great to sit on a panel and act outraged but how would you feel if you lost a loved one due to an insurance company denying treatment to a loved one when you thought you were covered would your opinion change then? Watch the Tik Toks of all the people and their frustration what do you do when you feel helpless.......

Or made suffer because of his own greed? His job was to help people, and instead he let people suffer and die so he could keep their money. As an older and conservative-minded gay man myself, this story caught my interest when I saw the front page in passing in my local shop, but given all that we have learned during Covid, my first reaction and gut instinct is that there is more to this story than meets the eye - something just seems a bit strange about this story and I really don’t know for sure what that could be, only the next few months will really tell us the real truth about what is really going on here

I agree with what all of you ladies are saying…… But take a look at it this way…… Because of his so-called good looks people do click on the stories which, in this case helped get him caught because he was recognizable and simply walking into a McDonald's, somebody recognized him. It is a very sad, tragic story not only for the family, but as you said for this young man who is very well educated, he had a masters he came from a wealthy family. Now he's going to spend the rest of his life in jail and right away, so it is very sad on both sides.
