I have a feeling the Treacherous Mansion alone will bump the count up by at least 200 Edit: 13:11 you can actually avoid those guys entirely, just walk up to the key and grab it with your hands instead of the poltergust. Luigi will wait until it's safe to do his celebration animation. Edit: Surprisingly I was wrong about the Treacherous Mansion.

C-5's key room IS doable without agro-ing any ghosts, i did it as a kid you have to grab the key by hand from the locker, using the vacuum too close to the slammers is what triggers them
