The part I liked is when a lot of Toad guards came out, because Bowser came for the Mushroom Kingdom. There is a reference to the Super Mario Bros. Movie at 1:48 “Open the gates!”, it was at the beginning of the movie at the Ice Kingdom when Bowser went to the Ice Castle.

Luigi defeats them all without breaking a sweat, only pausing for a moment when Mario is the only one left, before remembering all the times Mario had beaten him mercilessly, and SMASHES him into the distance. Then we see Level UP making a desperate final plan. Possibly even involving Weegie, I dunno. Just my guess.
