This is reminiscent of Mario and Sonic's food challenges, and it also has a bit of the essence of the old, fun golden era of SMG4. I laughed at that part of Heavy chasing the Scout and how the second one screamed. That haircut Luigi gave Mario last time looks funny, not only did he look bald but his head was kind of deformed to one side. Here, unlike Mario and Sonic, they gave their best effort and neither of them failed, so they ended in a tie.
