Wasnt high max X6? anyway that song is a genesis remix of the track which was made for a Sonic Rom Hack called "Sonic Boom" (name based on the song of the same name i believe) I would recomend checking it out its pretty nice and its sound test is full of mega drive remixes of the Mega Man franchise.

Theres a few things and ways how the characters could survive and not surprized nobody noticed in the original game tails and knuckles cant spindash or run and tails cant fly knuckles cant glide or climb and I dont think they have idle animations and dr robotnik could had used one of his wepons if he had any or metal sonic could had saved him did you guys noticed but never pointed it out ?
